Lagomandra Hotel and Spa

The overall cleanliness was poor. The restaurant floors were visibly dirty, and hygiene standards were not maintained. When we raised concerns about cleanliness, the manager reacted angrily rather than addressing the issue professionally. The restaurant staff were consistently rude, unhelpful, and seemed irritated when asked simple questions or requests such as cutlery or basic assistance during breakfast. The room amenities were very basic and incomplete for a hotel of this category. There were no vanity kits, body lotion, slippers, cups for toothbrushes, or a laundry bag. When we requested these items, only slippers were eventually provided. Maintenance issues were also not properly addressed. The balcony net was broken, and despite being informed and told a technician would come, no repair was carried out over three days. Additionally, there were insects inside the room, and some furniture and doors appeared worn or damaged. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and maintenance fall far below 4-star standards. We would not recommend this hotel and feel the experience was not worth the price or expectations set by its rating.

The view, the amazing food, the clean beach, the value of the package itself. Nothing special to mention. Bit of an issue with the hot water in the shower, it fluctuate a bit.

The location is great - close to the beach, a restaurant close by, the staff were very nice and helpful, rich breakfast and many cats outside for kids to play with :) Overall, it was a great vacation and good value for our money. We'll be happy to come back again sometime. For our experience, it's not easy to get to the location without a car, but eventually getting a car was cheaper than the taxi options (way and back). The room was very nice, but not really sound-proof, we had a small baby with us, and putting him to sleep was a challenge with the noise from other guests near us.

It’s on a hill, so try to book a room closer to the facilities and beach, otherwise it’s a lot of stairs, which got tough with our family and carrying lots of equipment to the beach. Pool is too deep to leave kids on their own. Also, dinner was a lot left to be desired.

Beatiful location, the seashore is amasing. The staff is very polite and helpfull. Nice pool with the olive trees around it, that give shade. Tasty and fresh food. The bathroom facilities need to be inspected once in a while, got some problem with the shower even though relatively minor problem. The menu in restaraunt could be more flexible.

The hotel was good enough. The staff was very nice and helpful. The beach and the swimming pools are very good. The restaurant on the beach is very nice. They are cooking and serving very well! :) There are piccolo's that are helping a lot for the luggage! We didn't like that we should wait for the table each morning and evening! I think this is a management decision! I didn't like that I should wait more than 12 hours for EV charger to be release by a single car!

Our stay was more than perfect – it was even better than we expected! We visited at the beginning of May and were lucky to catch the perfect weather with almost no other tourists around. Everything was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We even received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our child absolutely loved the evening kids’ activities, and the animators were truly caring and attentive. A big bonus that pleasantly surprised us was that guests can use the facilities of both hotels – including restaurants, pools, bars, and more. We hadn't read about that beforehand, and it really added to the experience. The only downside – which didn't affect us yet – is that once the high season starts, sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels become paid extras. That’s something we honestly don’t understand, as it would make much more sense for hotel guests to have them included.

It's very good place to stay for families as it has lots of space and very friendly staff. The location was a bit remote from the bigger places, you couldn't walk to a place where you could spend the evening without using your car

We had to make shower with cold water. Only last night they fixed it after we complained at reception for the third time.

We chose this hotel because it’s located on the beautiful beach Lagomandra with the natural shade and perfect sand and crystal clear water. Perfect for family stay. The room was spacious, we had everything we need, two tvs, two bathrooms etc, spacious balcony with the sea view. The complete hotel area is well organized and clean. The food was great - a lot of variety, I can say that we couldn’t get enough of sweets:) We had 4 days of bad weather but our kid spent time in the hotel playroom (outside and inside) and there was a lot of other activities planned for kids with the animators. The staff is so friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant. What amazed us the most is WiFi coverage and quality- we had wifi even on the beach! Sometimes we didn’t have a hot water in the shower. Often the outdoor elevator wasn’t working- we had to use the stairs with the baby in the stroller. Sun beds on the beach are not free - it’s 15e per day. Also the Spa is not for free it’s 10e per hour per person. The receptionist didn’t know the working hours of the animators and the playrooms.
