beautifully renovated property in a great location. loved that it was on the edge of the busy area and so easy to walk to everything. the room was extremely comfortable and the staff went out of their way to assist us. we had to leave early for the airport the last morning and they arranged box breakfasts for us!

The hotel was truly wonderful. It is small, beautiful and pristinely clean and in a great location for walking in Lagos. Christopher and the staff were extremely helpful, without being at all intrusive. We felt taken care of in the best possible way. We have just returned home from Portugal, having stayed in three hotels in three different locations. Although they were all nice hotels, MN56 was our favorite and leaving there felt like leaving home. We are two couples - we all felt the same way and enthusiastically recommend it! We really loved our whole experience there.

The hotel is lovely and modern and has a great, relaxed feel to it. The best thing is the location: restaurants right outside the door, the shops just around the corner and the beach about 10 minutes away! It was so handy having everything so close. The staff were great with recommendations; we especially loved Ciuccio, Pomò and Casa do Prego. Even better, Padaria Central bakery is 30 seconds away. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and would stay there again. We parked in the public parking just 5 minutes from the hotel and it was free which was a bonus. Really recommend Praia de Dona Ana, you can walk there (about 20 minutes) and the boardwalks to the beach are great. We also went to see dolphins which was fantastic. What a great stay we’ve had! If you could access the Netflix app on the TV. However, this in no way impacted our stay and we were very happy.

The property has a prime location. The decor was very nice. The staff was cordial and accommodating. However, there is no need for a tour of the rooftop pool area, and no need for the escort and tour of the quaint room. I can find the mini fridge on my own. All of the parking is off-site and there is no valet service. The king bed I booked was actually 2 twins beds pushed together with separate bedding. I understand this is customary in parts or Europe, but it does not qualify for a 5 star rating. Ants were present in the room.

This hotel was outstanding. Located perfectly within walking distance of everything in town, and the design of the lobby was gorgeous. The staff are hospitable and welcoming and gave me recommendations on places to go, which was lovely. It felt like a home away from home, very safe and inviting. I will definitely stay here again the next time I come to Lagos. Their breakfast is also wonderful and included in the stay. The rooftop pool is amazing and overlooks the city of Lagos. There were a couple of things I noted to the staff about an odd smell in the room, which they were very apologetic about and will work to fix it. Otherwise perfect stay.

Very stylish hotel offering all the comforts, including good sheets and pillows, thoughtful room lighting, desk and remote work space, amazing breakfast with local specialties, concierge service, and beautiful roof top lounge area and infinity pool. The styling is modern, and some people might prefer older and more authentic Portuguese charm.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise and one of the highlights of our 3-week trip to Portugal! We did not know what to expect as it was brand new, but it turned out that the staff were knocking themselves out to create a friendly, personalized experience for every guest. The managers were fantastic, welcoming us with a drink and orientation to the area. The pool was lovely and warm, big enough to swim in with a beautiful view. The restaurant was spectacular. Make sure you book a table for dinner as it is now getting very busy as the cuisine becomes well known outside of the hotel guests themselves. Parking is free of charge off-site (which is better than what was describe on the app when we booked). Lots of activities close by within walking distance (beautiful beaches and hiking trails of the Ponta de Piadade plus boat trips and kayaking). You cannot go wrong in booking this place!
