Casa Luma B&B

I had to book this room last-minute due to a change in my plans and was quickly and consistently accommodated by the hosts despite reserving the room on the same day I arrived. Location was ideal - right in the heart of Lagos but on a quieter street. My room was definitely small but comfortable overall. I wasn't able to experience the breakfast due to my timing but imagine it was lovely. I had a heavy bag and had difficulty carrying it up the many stairs, so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with limited mobility or difficulty with stairs. The bed wasn't amazing but was comfortable enough.

This was, without a doubt, the best accommodation I have ever experienced. Anna, the host, is the sweetest and kindest person imaginable—incredibly helpful and truly attentive, often anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The location is perfect, right in the center of Lagos. The entire place is kept incredibly clean; the moment you walk in, you are greeted by such a fresh, pleasant scent. The room itself was spotless. Every morning, we enjoyed an amazing breakfast with freshly baked croissants, fresh coffee (prepared exactly how you like it!), and fresh orange juice and fruit. Anna’s hospitality truly made our vacation even better. Highly recommended! Nothing!!!

Casa Luma is in Old Town Lagos, a short walk to restaurants and the bustling town as well as close to the beautiful beaches The breakfast offerings were hearty and healthy. The owners and staff were friendly with great recommendations for local activities. They helped me enormously when I left my phone in the taxi from the airport, and got the phone back! It got a bit noisy at night.

There wasn't much that we did not like for our stay.

Casa Luma is located just inside of the city walls and very close to everything Lagos has to offer. It is also very close to several free public parking lots. Although it is basic, it was very clean and modern inside. Ana and Luis are wonderful and welcoming hosts. The breakfast was made up of fresh ingredients with some freshly baked pastries. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is no elevator, which for some visitors could be an issue since most of the rooms are upstairs.

It’s was a perfect stay! Ana was an incredible host and her breakfast was a 10/10!

Ana and Luis were incredible hosts! The room was spacious and clean. Included breakfast was also perfect! Doors are uncontrollably loud opening and closing when other guests came and went at odd hours

The location is perfect, right in town so easy to walk everywhere. The breakfast is a great touch and Ana the host is the sweetest person ever!! Room was very clean and comfortable. Overall would definitely recommend!! Only thing you have to walk through the shower to get to the bathroom which is a little strange but that’s just the layout of the room. Also there was quite a few flies that were in the shower.

Well located, stylish and smelled amazing! Lots of echos from the hallway but not a huge problem. Echos are common in Portugal with all the tiles and hard materials.

It was a nice room in a great location. The room was a good size. The room was a little dark, but I guess many rooms in Europe are dark because of the heat.

Ana, Luis, the perfect hosts. Shared their home as if we were family. Helped with any questions we had about the area. Would of loved a parking garage on site.

Ana and Luis were excellent hosts and very helpful with local suggestions. Best breakfast I’ve had in 3 weeks, room was large and bed was comfortable. Great shower and very clean. Excellent location. There was a little street noise but the shutters on the windows did block it very well. And it was very quiet after 11 p.m.

We highly enjoyed our stay at Casa Luma. The room was very clean and comfortable, the check-in was super easy. Ana and her family really made us feel home. They prepared a delicious breakfast, even with vegan options, provided beach towels and gave the best recommendations for beaches, activities and restaurants. I highly recommend to stay at Casa Luma!
