Great facilities, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Great place to meet people if you're solo traveling

Amazing rooftop, breakfast included, clean washrooms, spacious rooms, nice communal spaces to work and socialize, the pool, views and the friendly and helpful staff. They plan events every day for guests and very close to the nightlife and restaurants. Based on people who stayed at other hostels, ours was the best! Wifi is terrible. Connection drops all the time. I had to use my data to complete my computer work. The storage drawers under the bed are very noisy, heavy and slam onto people. They need to change the storage cabinets. No curtains on the beds either. It would be nice if they changed up the breakfast options (ie fruits, and have protein options or tougher etc).

A bit warm in the room, otherwise great stay and location

I have stayed here many times. I have stayed in hostels in 60 countries, and I can say with certainty that this is one of the best in the world. It is well maintained from year to year (unlike other hostels) so pictures and reviews reflect what you get when you stay. The staff are wonderful and deliver a consistent experience. Lagos has become a more expensive destination and hostel pricing has gone the same way - I just hope that it moderates so I can keep coming back!

The location and pool were great! The beds were uncomfortable and the shower has no water pressure and kept turning off after a few seconds.

Loved this hostel! Went for a week solo and met so many people and absoutely loved my stay. Its a skip and a hop to cafes, shops, restaurants. I loved that they organised events and things to do which made it easy to meet people and make friends. They are also super helpfull with recommendations for activities etc. facilities were clean and well maintained!! Loved the rooftop pool. Only downsides i would say was the breakfast supplied wasnt that good, i ate it once and went to nice cafes instead but its not like i paid extra for the breakfast so wasnt too upset! And then no curtains on your bed and very annoying lockers under the bed that are loud and tricky to use.

Beautiful location, pool, clean room, staff were all amazing! We stayed in the private suites -added bonus —they bring breakfast to your room.

Great pool, lots of showers, nice patios

It was the best hostel experience ever, had lots of friends, great time with social events. Friendly staff, clean and safe staying! If I am coming back again to Lagos, I know where to stay again! They can add curtains to the beds for more privacy and change the luggage type as drawer since it can be more practical.

The sheets provided were so thin. I was freezing because of the AC. Also not comfortable at all that there were no curtains, guy in the bed below came with a girl and we all heard everything (not hostel’s fault) but next morning the girl still there and had an uncomfortable moment… curtains at least gives more privacy

Clean and well located property with friendly staff who go above and beyond to give you ideas for what to do and organize activities. The included breakfast is pleasant and includes hot and cold items. Timed showers and sinks. You have to press a button every 10 seconds while showering to continue receiving water. The crowd is very young and can be quite loud late into the night.

I love the location and the vibe! People were friendly and in the heart of Lagos! I was in a room with 8 females, and they didn’t respect the quiet time. The room was noise most of the time.

Bathrooms and showers well maintained as well as common spaces. Loved the organized events. I was able to join in on a pub crawl. No A/C so dorm rooms got quite warm. Even a fan or two in the room would have been ideal. Breakfast was pretty minimal.

TopCity Hostel Suites is a great choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience. The hostel is new, and the staff do an excellent job keeping everything clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is simple but adequate, perfect to start the day. Its location is ideal—within walking distance to the beach and all major attractions. The staff also organize fun and well-curated activities, creating a social and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
