Breakfast was not good. Everything else was decent

Beyond cleanliness, condition was disappointing. Cosmetic updates seemed rushed, with water-damaged walls, missing caulk, and damage to the entry door interior. Most concerning, the door did not latch properly, creating a safety issue, especially since it was already open on arrival. This was a maintenance issue, not housekeeping. I considered leaving, but options in Lake Charles were limited and our toddler was exhausted. I would have stayed elsewhere. I wanted to enjoy the stay, but the room fell below expectations and price point. I hope management addresses cleanliness and door safety, as these issues affect guest confidence. When I addressed the issue the next morning I was offered 50% off our next stay, but we won’t be coming back.

Room was nice, my main concern was the shower. Especially in a hotel. I’m surprised it pass inspection for safety. I almost slipped and fell due to not having any grab bars. Corporate office needs to do something about it.

THE FRIENDLY STAFF

Savannah and her capable staff were professional, helpful and very hospitable! From getting upgraded to help my wife and her arthritis to recommended spots for dinner, the staff were awesome. The only thing they fell short of was I was unable to win anything at the casino !!! I highly recommend the Hotel Marco!

The value was there. I would stay again

Everything was as described or better. The king suite was spacious and clean. The staff was courteous, helpful, and informative. The only thing I would like to see differently would be a TV in the living area. There was one in the bedroom. Since my husband stays up later than I do watching TV, this inconvenienced my rest time.

Nice place the swinging glass door on the small bathroom was the only issue

We did not have pillow cases on our pillows when we checked in. I did request and staff brought quickly. We were up and out early and moving to next location but did notice that there were no bath towels available in the room had we wanted to shower

Coffee maker broken. Front door locked so I wasn’t able to walk out at 4 am. Had to use side door. Front desk said hotel wasn’t open to those that live further than 10 miles away. He did me a “favor” and let me stay anyway. Absolutely insane to have a hotel right off the interstate and only allow locals. I live 20 miles away. Elevator was junk too

Onsite manager was so friendly and helpful. The room was recently remodeled and very clean.

One of the exit doors didn't open, no water in the pool and the elevator make noise when you come down scared my wife. Understand they had we're going on in the hotel to make it better.

Second, her AC did not work at all. She was hot all night and could not sleep. Third, her Tv sound came in but the screen was black. Lastly and probably the worst of all, while she was eating breakfast in her room a roach comes crawling down the wall right by her. I complained to front desk and he handed me an email to complain to, which happed to be an email not in service, so I looked up an email to the hotel online and sent in my complaint. I still haven’t gotten a response. I took a picture of the roach and sent that in the email as well. The hotel had a really strong gas smell throughout the halls and lobby and it was very HOT! I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Toilet and shower has hair everywhere.night Receptionist was not happy and look upset. Also the morning receptionist was wearing his air pods and brakefast never was enough. Coffie was terrible. Pancakes mixed not enough for everyone and he didn't pay attention terrible experience
