Room ok—restaurant not great

Only stayed one night but I’ll be back. Great views but it was a Wednesday. Probably gets pretty loud but fun on weekends.

Our room wasn’t cleaned 4 of the 5 days we stayed at the resort. Towels were replaced everyday and trash was emptied. Staff at front desk could have been friendlier and asked how things were going. We liked the quiet location and ate frequently at Gators, next door. Probably would not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the property, the pool with swim up options was super, there were nice golf choices within minutes, and excellent meal venues. We will be back!

The staff was incredible, upgraded us to a Lakeview room. Pool area was beautiful, room was spacious. Only complaint is the room could have been cleaner. Dirty towel hanging on bathroom door, and other things

Wonderful place to stay! Will definitely go back.

Very nice hotel right on the waterfront of Lake of the Ozarks. Rooms were very clean and modern and had a nice sized mini fridge and kitchenette. Bathroom and shower were large. Nice views from the deck. It would be nice if the pool/bar were open a little later.

We loved everything about our stay at Camden On The Lake Resort. It was a total relaxing experience! The staff was pleasant, our room was clean and cozy. The hot tub with the waterfall was a plus! The scenery from our room was amazing! We will definitely be visiting again.

We had to check into two separate rooms because the rooms were dirty the room we ended up staying and was dirty too. They had to come up and clean and vacuum. The bathroom had pubic hairs and the shower enclosure and soap on the bench from the previous person, nightstands had a sticky pottery substance on them balcony was also very dirty with bugs and cobwebs like it hadn’t been cleaned all summer.

We spent Saturday - Monday here and didn’t have the best experience. The restaurant onsite was either understaffed or poorly staffed. The food and drinks were quite expensive and the quality was fine. Not impressed - especially with the server we had for dinner. The room was alright but the top sheet on the bed had several strands of hair on it when we arrived. Not necessarily the resort’s fault, but we were also woken up around 1:30a on Saturday because of lights and sirens in the parking lot. Several police cars showed up to arrest someone. Overall, it just wasn’t relaxing or impressive. If you like to party and don’t have high standards, you might be fine.

The people are so nice and polite

Loved this hotel. We didn't spend much time there, but we were always happy to arrive in the evening. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel felt like it was located on the furthest end. Everything we wanted to do was a 15-20 minute ride (but we were on vacation, so who cares). They could benefit from at least one more restaurant option and maybe cheaper coffee. However, we really enjoyed our time and would happily stay at this hotel again.

Look elsewhere.

My daughter and I booked this for a weekend trip. We paid over $800 for two nights. Upon our arrival, the refrigerator was wide open and would not stay closed. The room was also very hot and stuffy, but we figured once we turn the air conditioning down from 71 to 68 it would cool off while we went to dinner. We returned from dinner in the room had not cooled down at all and the refrigerator had to have a bag set in front of it to stay closed. Called maintenance staff who told us that the unit was working and they thought maybe it was just too hot outside. The next day the high was only 73 and the room was still very hot and stuffy. We had to leave the balcony doors open to cool it off. The next day it still was not working properly so we called maintenance again, never receiving a resolution before checking out. We attempted to speak with staff regarding a partial refund via Expedia, they denied. I reached out directly to the resort they have ignored me. Which besides access to the basic amenity such as air-conditioning we were overall happy with our room, although there were some cleanliness concerns with dishes. So it’s disappointing that they couldn’t even be bothered to discuss any options with us regarding our stay.

Our view was very nice! Checking in was fine. We were the only guests at the counter. We didn’t really get a warm greeting. We signed the paperwork and that was it. Since it was our first time there, it was a missed opportunity to tell us about the location and what makes it stand out. What are some things we should try while there? Our room didn’t seem very clean, especially for the amount we paid. For example, there was some gravel on the entryway floor - right by the door. The furniture seemed quite dusty too.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. If your looking for a REALLY relaxing time then this is the place for you.
