Excellent location and great service

The parking was free at the attached lot. And the area around the hotel was walkable and beautiful. Lake mirror is right across the street and has a sidewalk all the way around it. Really lovely visit here. Will stay again next time we are in the area.

The staff service and hotel was excellent. Unfortunately around 2am there was kids running in the hallways screaming for what seemed like 5-10 mins simultaneously the room next door a woman was heard moaning from 2-3am with intermittent stops. While the hotel has no control of this behavior my chances of staying here again are pretty slim. I felt like I was in a motel6. Luckily my son didn’t wake up to hear any of that. I’ve never experienced anything like this in a reputable hotel.

Had a great stay while visiting our daughter and her husband in Lakeland. The location was great and convenient and dinner in the restaurant was very good. Comfy beds and nice room.

Very pretty hotel. And staff was nice. Very close to all the places we needed to go. Had to wait 10 minutes for hot water for a shower. Lots of noise coming from outside at nights and kids running up and down the hallways at 7am. AC made lots of noise as well.

We booked the best suite in the hotel—a lake-view room. Between the bedroom and the bathroom, the ceiling tiles were damaged. The AC was extremely loud, like a helicopter landing each time it started. The bedsheets and pillows smelled moldy. Thankfully it was just one night, but I won’t stay in Lakeland again. Tampa and Orlando have better options. It’s farther from where I needed to be that day, and I couldn’t sleep all night. The lobby was nice and well maintained. The hotel rooms, however, have seen better days. The real shock came when stepping into the elevators—they were dirty and several floor tiles were missing. The hallways smelled and were dingy. I understand Lakeland isn’t an affluent area, but if you have a Tapestry by Hilton property, you need to maintain it. Rates were very low compared to other locations, which might explain the maintenance.

Clean property with beautiful appointments. Staff was amazingly professional and attentive to every need. The location was convenient in order to attend some events in the area but it was absolutely awful for sound. There was little sound isolation between rooms and there was almost no sound deadening for things outside. Being downtown there were trains at all hours (being from another state I didn’t realize tracks were so close), I often heard people racing in the streets, blasting music from time to time, and then each night there were emergency sirens blaring and racing off somewhere. All fairly normal or expected things downtown, however I did expect a little more isolation from the sounds inside my room. Surprisingly it sounded like every loud noise was right outside my window making it very difficult to sleep.

The only issues we had was the A/C didn't seem to do a good job keeping the humidity down. Otherwise, everything was great. Also, the Valet, Johnny, who was on shift Friday, July 2nd, in the morning, was super nice and friendly.
