The dining room staff were wonderful, friendly, and very attentive. * There were ants in our room. * The pool and the dining room were far from our room. * There was a musty smell in the room and in the bedding.

We stayed at this beautiful luxury hotel in Thailand for a few days during our second honeymoon, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made us feel very special and went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. The food at the hotel was excellent, and dinner in particular was outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality options. While the overall experience is quite expensive compared to typical Thailand prices, it is absolutely worth it for the level of service, comfort, and luxury you receive. Our room was spotless, flawless, and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping was impeccable, and everything felt fresh, clean, and very well maintained throughout our stay. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our time together. Overall, this hotel offers an exceptional combination of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service. It’s an ideal choice for couples, honeymoons, or anyone looking for a special and memorable stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it. The hotel is quite distant from restaurants and shops, more secluded, so our explorations were limited to cab rides.

A week of great indulging experience in Renaissance. Great, quite property -well cared for - situated at coral beach - with 2 different swimming pools, and 2 restaurants where we had number of great meals throughout our stay. The rooms are comfortable and large with a balcony. The beds have high sleeping comfort. Superior breakfast with a special service for eggs, freshly baked waffles and pancakes, verity of Asian and European food and drinks - not repetitive. Hotel organizes different activity as yoga, Pilates, Thai boxing etc. The beach is coral - great to look at - less to swim in - very shallow as well in high tide. Property operates free shuttle buses to 2 nearest beaches, which are great, however it is not "swimming" out the door experience.

Amazing hotel, very nice and caring staff, the food and restaurants is exceptional. The pool area is just beautiful Only downside for us was that the cupbords and furniture all together in our Deluxe Sea View Room could really use a renovation. The cupboards were a bit dusty where we wanted to put our clothes in. Also the extremely shallow water at the beach is kind of a shame, it’s only about knee high maximum for like 100 meters

The hotel was in a quiet location, the two pools were great and the pool side service really good. The breakfast was also very good - though some of the senior staff were a little abrasive. Follow up on any requests - I had asked for interconnecting/rooms with specific bedding and received a generic - we will attempt to accommodate response. On arrival, the senior staff insisted that it was not possible due to the rooms I had booked. Had I been made aware of that, I would have changed my arrangements. Housekeeping were responsive but didn't always check for toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner and other useable items.

The maintenance and housekeeping staff were amazing. The pools are lovely - the beach pool (and pool bar) are very inviting. And the long pool (1.2m) very quite. Resort provided a shuttle into nearby towns (the closest town approx 3km) three times per day. The reception staff - they were insincere, promising all and delivering nothing, while looking at their screens and saying sorry. The number of stairs - while you may use a cart to get around the resort, you are faced with stairs to get to the pools, beach, restaurants and spa. The age and condition of the resort - it appears the resort does not fix issues unless a guest complains; during our stay the shower, TV and air conditioner needed repair/replacement. Plus the conditioner container ran out of liquid. The ocean/sea view is not worth the extra $ unless you are on floors 5 or 6.
