Monti is in the Tuscan hills, in the picturesque village of San Baronto, near the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. It features a peaceful garden with swimming pool and playground. Hotel Monti is a historic, 2-story building and does not have an elevator. This family-run hotel offers personalized service and top quality food in its small restaurant. a varied buffet breakfast is served each morning. WiFi is free throughout the property. Rooms are spacious, recently restored and have a classic design. All air conditioned, they also feature a TV and mini-bar. Each one has a private bathroom with hairdryer. Hotel Monti has a large private parking lot, available upon reservation and for a fee (€5 per day). In our parking, 4 parking spaces for electric cars are available. It is suggested to book by message or e-mail a space for electric car. Guests can relax in the swimming pool with hydromassage area. We loved the Hotel Monti, from Daiana’s warm welcome, to the relaxed nature of the hotel. The food was superb, and the rooms clean and comfortable, just what we needed after exploring Florence and Pisa. The pool area was lovely to soak up the last of the sunshine at the end of an evening. Cannot state enough how lovely this hotel was!! We entered as guests and I really feel that we left as friends… amazing time! I wouldn’t change a thing!

We stayed in a family room. Aircon worked just fine. Pleasant hotel. Clean. Great breakfast. Nice swimming pool in a quite large, quiet garden. Very friendly staff. Very good value for your money. Nothing really.

The hotel is very nice for a small town and is a good place to stay for both a business trip and a family vacation. There is a good-sized swimming pool in the courtyard of the hotel which provides cooling from the hot weather. Breakfast is a typical Italian breakfast. I stayed at the hotel with my family for one night (20.07.-21.07.2024). The hotel was quiet and you could sleep peacefully at night in a comfortable bed. It was convenient to park the car in the closed courtyard of the hotel. Does not concern the hotel! There are not many places to eat in the evening and they are more expensive than average.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Rooms had their own outside space whether balcony or terrace. The rooms are very simple. Well kept grounds and pool. The restaurant for dinner was superb as was the meal. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Nothing.

Very good location, ideal for Toskany tours (Florence, Siena, Lukka, Pistoia), swimming pool, good breakfast, great coffee, parking, Netflix. The air condition could be better, no towels for swimming pool, could be more fruits for the breakfast, poor lighting in the room.

The breakfast was good and the staff is nice. It is not recently renovated, everything us falling apart. The furniture is old, the bed was very uncomfortable. You can hear the people in next room, you hear everytime, when someone opens or closes the door. The shower is so small, you can hardly turn around. The frige did not work, you couldn’t turn it on. It was also not very clean, we found hair on pillows. Also the internet connection is really bad.

Hotel staff were friendly and had plenty of choice for breakfast, with meat/cheeses, fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cakes/pastries. Paid for private parking behind the hotel which was a good idea at 5euro per night. Enjoyed having a swim in the pool after been out exploring Tuscany. Hotel in a quiet area of Tuscany up in the hills, apart from the clock bells that chime early in the morning and finish late into the evening. Mattrass was a bit thin, so not as supportive for our backs, fridge might keep you awake if a light sleeper as you can hear it during the night. Shower cubicle was very thin and narrow but could shower and wash hair ok.
