Excellent location, staff and accommodations

The rooms shower drain was clogged and spewed up black mold everything we flushed or used the sink. The refrigerator was also turned off and leaked all over the floor.

My family liked the polos and how it is not too deep and has a specific place for children but the ac was extreme cold

I love many things about this hotel. I grew up coming here for like 20 years. It’s the original Willow Valley Hotel. Now owned by double tree. I’m 47 now and decided to return yearly as my go to spot for a nice relaxing vacation. The grounds are well maintained, the rooms are clean and spacious. Did I mention the daily cookie? Hot a gooey the way we like them. lol. It’s a nice touch. The hotel bar is convenient as well. I only had 1 drink but it was properly made and being able to take it up to my room was great. The front desk has a nice set up if you need drinks, chargers, junk food, toot brushes/ paste. Anything you might have forgotten for a quick add the fee to the room. It’s convenient and I appreciate this. No more looking for vending machine singles. And there is a CVS close by (300 feet tops)if you ever need something. Double tree in willow valley is a great location. I’d say centrally located to anything you want to do. Good times. Thank you to the staff for making my stay great as usual. I do miss the real restaurant for the bad weather or travel days where you want a good meal without running around. The bistro food is good, and it has plenty of room to sit down, but it’s different. I did go for dinner one night, and didn’t starve. The burger and fries were perfect. It’s the only thing I’d change.

The “manager” came to the pool area and told us that we could not have any food in the pool area and I was a little confused … I let her go, and after she left I walked around the facility and did not find not one sign advising that no food was allowed. So I went upstairs to inform the “manager” there are no signs, if there were signs then we would know not to bring food. The minute I started talking about it, she cut me off and said “I told you, I said you can’t have any food. Then she said “you guys broke the rule by bringing extra guest. Technically, I can ask you guys all to leave, but I let that go”. I told her that if she could not talk like a respectful adult or lower her voice, I could raise my voice too, and I could be louder and be disrespectful. Her response was, “this is how I talk”. I advised her when you’re a professional and at your job that’s not an excuse. I reminded her I simply came to inform her that people know how to read and we would know not to bring any food. We were later informed by the front desk that the manager lied, there’s no such rule of no food at the pool area. Needless to say, we won’t be booking here anymore. I’ll gladly pay more elsewhere.

Great property. Location was convenient to the Sight and Sound Theater. Good Amish restaurants.

The pool was great for keeping my kids entertained. The breakfast was really good and had a lot of variety. The entire hotel was clean. We had a great stay! The pool towels could be bigger, they were the size of hand towels lol. Otherwise we had a great stay.

This was the perfect hotel for our family and friends with small children. They had a blast in the pool and water activities. The property was clean and the staff was really kind/pleasant with every interaction. I will definitely be returning!

The only problem was the restaurant in the hotel. It was absolutely disgusting all the food was undercooked. I got fish and chips and the FISH INSIDE WAS PINK!!!!! It was disgusting. The breakfast was not better. Thankfully there are restaurants 10 minutes away 👍

There was some sound of firecrackers that suddenly happened behind our room that was very startling and then someone came and banged on the door loudly at 11pm at night and scared my young daughter and myself. When i looked no one was there. She cried herself to sleep.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. The kids splash pad area was a blast for my kids. Just wish it was better ventilated for my baby who got overheated sitting watching her siblings. No air circulation. Otherwise a perfect stay.
