Let me start with the positive: - Great friendly staff - Accommodating to one’s dietary needs - Super clean inn and room - Complimentary breakfast - Complimentary drinks (water/tea/coffee/hot chocolate) throughout the day I gave it a lower rating because of the following: - Horrible bed for 2 reasons: (1) hard mattress felt like sleeping on a table so painful and uncomfortable; and (2) bed is too high for older individuals and those who are disabled - Room location - the gala room has two rooms with a bedroom and sitting room adjoining a bathroom. Unfortunately it faced the road and it was noisy all night long with cars, sirens and anything else you can think of. Not quiet at all. - Appreciate the complimentary tailored breakfast but first day was loaded with carbs (I.e., jammed yogurt with fruit followed by toast with cream and fruit) and heavy creams. I picked the place specifically for claiming tailored high protein high energy breakfast. - Did not clean the room or provide fresh towels. I stayed for 3days/2nights.

Beautiful property with outdoor sitting, super quiet and safe. Dreamy patio outside my room. Location was great. They picked up my calls and were able to accommodate a very specific request. AC was a bit loud and the rooms felt a little dated.

Loved the stay and will stay here on every trip to Lancaster from now on. The breakfasts were delightful and the room was very comfortable. Next time, I will ask for a room away from the road.

My only caveat: I stayed in the Gala suite at the front of the house, facing northbound Willow Street Pike, on which noisy traffic gets going rather early. If you're easily woken in the morning, ask for a room away from the street, or bring earplugs. The silver lining there is that occasionally an Amish buggy goes by.

The Gala room was adorable. The house was nicely furnished and well decorated. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We could tell the owners really put thought and care into preparing and serving the food. The parfait and china set were my favorites. One of the owners even joined us for a little bit during breakfast, and I thought it was very nice that he wanted to mingle with the guests. The chairs in the Gala room needed to be vacuumed under the cushions. Towels could be better (thicker and softer).

There really isn't anything bad I can say. The only thing to make it better, would be a pool. But we were out more than in so we didn't miss one.

We stayed in the cottage and it was nice and quiet. But close enought to get everything within 15 to 20 minutes. Shady, so if you wanted to swing in the outdoor swing and get some fresh air , the geat wasn't overbearing. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! There was plenty and we couldn't eat it all. Very accommodating and friendly!! We've stayed at different places over the past 4 years of coming and by far the best yet. There really isn't anything bad I can say. The only thing to make it better, would be a pool. But we were out more than in so we didn't miss one.

The breakfast was delicious! The host family was wonderful. We did not get the exact room we were expecting. The room we had was small and very dark.

food was good didn't like having to have breakfast at a big table with all the other guests, Would have preferred a buffet. Too much breakfast so there was a lot of waste.

When I called ABI I was told was told ABI is the guest house for Willow Valley Communities. It clearly is not. I thought I was talking w/ WVC guest house. WVC has its own guest suites & we were expected at WVC. Also, when we showed up at ABI it had stairs to climb & I am handicapped & can't do stairs so not acceptable. We decided we couldn't stay & left after 15 minutes, but there was no representative left in the house to inform on our say out the door. My telephone call to 717-629-4374 to inform we were leaving was not answered.
