Motel 6 Laurel, DC - Washington Northeast

I made a mistake putting my name on the reservation wrong and nobody helped me so I lost my money

I was surprisingly impressed by this Motel 6! The exterior looks basic, but the reception staff were amazing and so welcoming. My room was fresh with totally clean linens, and the bathroom was decent. The guest laundry room was a huge lifesaver for washing my uniform before work the next day, and the vending area is so cute. Excellent budget value. I’d stay again!

Stayed for a few days while travelling. I booked the room almost three months prior but on the morning of the check in I got a call saying they no longer had the room I had reserved, but would downsize my room but not receive any compensation. We realized after we got there that they had taken our room to give to a large group of people who had showed up day of and wanted rooms all in a row. Got there and our “new” non smoking room smelled like smoke. We had to wait 30 minutes for them to clean a different room. The staff was nice but felt disorganized. I don’t understand how I wasn’t eligible for some money back as we were downgraded to a one bed instead of two. Which means a smaller room. Other people staying there were very noisy and parting, staff didn’t seem to do much about it. We will not be going back

Very pricey for the area

Clean room, good water pressure and excellent A/C; what more do you really need? Only complaint was that the bed was a bit lumpy. Will stay here again if I'm ever in this area.

I am always please with that place. Starting with helpful staff, clean room, well kept property and very convenient to almost everything in that area.

For the price they listed this place for, it is very an ideal stay on a budget. Clean room, well kept property. Even though most standard rooms don’t come with amenities upon request you can get a room with a mini fridge, microwave, tv and free wifi. The staff are always willing to help with whatever question you might have about the property. I will keep come back because I received great customer service

The room didn’t have any amenities such as Iron or refrigerator. Not even a microwave at the office or the room. Hope in the future you will have them. Thank you!

I have been to this motel over 5 times and it’s always affordable and clean. I will drive an extra 30 minutes out of my way because I know I can expect a clean room.
