Property was clean and close to the beach (beach is rocky not sandy, but clean) The pillows were too soft. We got the extras from the closet, but they had no structure :/

Close to the ferry port and easy to find so ideal if you don’t want to travel far after the cross channel journey. It’s modern and very clean. It’s comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a bit pricey so we did our own thing. The car parking is also a bit pricey but there is always free on street parking nearby providing you leave before 09:00 in the morning.

The hotel is in a superb location right on the waterfront and a short stroll from the beach. The reception staff were very pleasant and effective although they spoke very quickly for our limited French language (they did offer to speak English but we laboured on in French). A town plan was offered and the receptionist marked points of interest on it. It was a heatwave while we were there and all the communal areas were pleasantly air conditioned as was our room with a fantastic sea view. There was a small refrigerator in the room with a complimentary 50 cl bottle of water. The room was very clean (except the carpet...see below) and comfortable with a little balcony. The shower was great with good temperature control of the water. There was plenty of secure parking in the underground garage although it could not be reserved and cost €20 per night. Breakfast was great with a huge selection including, strangely for us Brits, peas and boiled potatoes in their skins. I had fried eggs cooked to order with bacon and sausages (home from home) and there was plenty of fruit, cereals and juices. You could even make your own fresh waffles. The lifts were very efficient and quick with little hanging around to move between floors. The location was great with many bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. The modernist cathedral just behind the hotel is a must see. The tea/coffee making facilities in the room were pathetic with a couple of green tea bags, a couple of sachets of instant coffee and one sachet of powdered milk. However, we were provided with a little jug of liquid milk at reception when we raised the issue. I was disturbed to find two smelly dogs in the breakfast room with two different families. This is not very hygienic and the doggy smell was putting me off my excellent breakfast. The hotel should review its policy on this and it should be possible to stipulate dog free bedrooms and keep non-human animals out of the eating areas. The only negative in our room was the stained and dirty carpet. Why have carpets anyway if you are letting dogs in the rooms? The entrance area of the room was wood laminate flooring so it might be best to ditch the dirty carpet and have laminate throughout.

All the staff were very kind. The hotel location is very good and convenient. I really liked balcony with a see view…Rooms are comfortable…

Room good size, partial see view was OK, good location, has small fitness room and laundry self-service. Bed comfy, bit soft. Air conditioning was practically not working. Outside heatwave on the decade (June 2026). A barely detectable cold-ish breeze came through the aircon hole. Called staff each night to fix it, nothing was done. One night at 2 a.m. a horrible smell came through the aircon hole, filling the room. I will definitely not book this hotel once again, especially during heatwave. Also, fridge was barely cooling drinks, practically useless. Was expecting much more from such a prominent chain at such price. Is it normal to get accommodation for +150€/night without aircon, during extreme heatwaves? Guess not, hope not.
