This 19-century B&B is located in the historical center of Le Mans. It is 6 minutes from Le Mans TGV Train Station. It offers panoramic views of the city and free WiFi. La Demeure de Laclais rooms are elegantly designed in a classic style and are equipped with floorboards and a flat-screen TV. All rooms overlook the garden or the city. At the B&B La Demeure, guests can enjoy a drink in the bar, on the flowery terrace or in the garden, which has views of the city. Le Mans historical center are full of sights, which guests can explore such as, the Roman city walls and 164 feet from Saint-Julien Cathedral. Activities, included hiking and cycling. In July 2018, the Place du Cardinal Grente where Laclais's home is located was the setting for the filming of the film Le Mans 66. This allows our facade to be visible in the trailer and in the film. Our establishment has served as stewardship during filming (Rest in the Tourelle Room for Christian Bâle, Office in our living room for James Mangold, make-up and costumes area in the reception staff of the establishment) The Demeure de Laclais is 3.9 mi from Le Mans-Arnage Airport. Public parking is available in front of the property, and it is free between 19:00 and 09:00.

The location couldn't have been better for sightseeing in the old town. Right next to the cathedral across the piblic parking lot. The room was clean and comfortable although a little odd with the shower and sink in the actual room. Toilet was separate though. Breakfast was delicious. All in all a very nice place to stay The parking was a little complicated. The lot out the front door is 2 hours for a reasonable rate at which point it jumps to Boston parking garage rates for the rest of the day. There are other options outside of the old town and at least you can stop at the front door to load and unload so really just a minor inconvenience.

Warm and welcoming staff (Brigitte and Eric). Great location, literally across the street from the cathedral and centrally located to restaurants. Good continental breakfast.It has a lot of old-world charm and a lovely garden.

Historic and quirky, with wonderful view and proximity to the cathedral and old part of town, which was itself very interesting. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Nothing. We enjoyed our brief stay.

I loved the views from our room, the breakfast was delicious with homemade food, it was very comfortable. The parking was indeed in front of the hotel, but it was a public parking and it was full.
