Free parking No hot water, no Wi-Fi, and a non-functional phone—plus, the front desk was arguably discriminatory. Last night, I tried to take a shower, but after letting the water run for ages, there was still no hot water. I had to get dressed and go down to the front desk. Two staff members eventually appeared from a back room: an older woman and a young man. When I explained the issue, the woman coldly replied, "You have to run it for at least two minutes. Did you do that?" I told her I had, but she just blankly repeated, "How long exactly?" Since I hadn't timed it perfectly, I estimated 3 to 5 minutes. She snapped back, "That's not long enough." I was shocked. I told her I had both the showerhead and the sink tap running simultaneously for minutes with zero heat—how is that "not long enough"? It was heartbreaking to see so much water wasted. I asked, "So you mean I should just leave it running indefinitely until it gets hot?" The young man chimed in, "If there’s hot water at the bar, there’s hot water in your room. Just go try again." Maybe it’s because I have an Asian face and they assumed I don’t know how plumbing works in Europe—even though I’ve lived here for ten years. I went back up and let it run for ten more minutes. Still nothing. When my husband went down to complain, they finally admitted there was a system failure and they were just then restarting the heater. In the end, I spent nearly an hour letting water go down the drain with nothing to show for it. It’s disgraceful. They could have checked the system earlier instead of patronizing me as if I came from the Stone Age. To top it off, there was zero Wi-Fi signal in the room, and the bedside phone was just a prop—it wasn't even connected.

Clean, affordable in the off season. Restaurant is a bit out of my comfort zone for price.

Very comfortable, warm perhaps a little too warm up in the loft. Clean modern. The location was difficult to find. When I put the information into my GPS, it sent me to a little farmhouse about 500 m down the road… the address was number six as per the listing so it was very confusing. I did call the host and they could speak English and were very helpful though so we worked it out. The pictures online did not reflect where we stayed . The pictures online looked like a hotel room, very modern and spacious. We ended up staying in basically a on-site Van. It was very comfortable, but not what I would’ve chosen for the money.

Loved they were separate little cottage rooms with their own table and chairs outside. Dine in restaurant had a great variety of food selections and reasonable priced. Nice pool setting and place to relax beside Cosy rooms, but manageable!

    Superb

Location was excellent, English well spoken, staff lovely especially the lady on reception the day we arrived. Rooms were good in small chalets. Good shower in our chalet. Lovely big bed. Nice environment. The room was a little hot with no fans or air conditioning, and no mosquito net on window so opening a wide window wasn’t an option at night when it cooled down. Still managed a perfect night sleep though as by night it happened to be quit cold out, but in a heat wave with hot nights not sure how it would work.

The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of lovely food and juices etc. The fresh fruit salad and what tasted like home made strawberry jam were so good. Pleanty of different choices for breakfast to suit everyone's taste. The children loved the outdoor pool. Gardens and grounds are so well kept. We were a little disappointed with the restaurant evening menu, especially travelling with 3 children, so we ate elsewhere. Our two allocated "cottages" were not as close as we would have liked.

Location was very good The room and the kids enjoyed the swimming pool

The rooms we had were comfortable: the double one was no so big, but it was sufficient for the 2 nights we spent there. The triple room was spacious. The bathrooms had everything we needed. The hotel facilities were good. We did not use the swimming pool, but it looked clean and safe. The dishes served at the restaurant were excellent. We recommend the restaurant. The breakfast served diverse food. The staff was extremely kind, friendly and welcoming. Finally, the hotel was at a short distance (by car) to the Mont-Saint-Michel and to Saint Malo. We had a great stay! Nothing really.

The room was too small and airless. The staff was not friendly.

I didn't have breakfast, but we did have supper in the restaurant which was delicious. My king size bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, and my three children upstairs in the loft with separate single beds had fun all sleeping together. Bathroom was clean and a bit old fashioned with one of those huge baths from the 1980s, but my kids thought it was brilliant. Swimming pool was cold but welcome on a very hot day, and the receptionist was helpful and spoke good English. Parking and a nice stroll along the road to a local cafe made it a lovely stay. N/A (maybe free breakfast if I'm nit picking!)
