The hotel was fine. My only complaint is regarding checkout. Checkout is at 11am. We headed across the street around 10am and took most of our belongings (but not all) to our car at that time. I put the “privacy please” sign on the door. We came back at 10:30 to freshen up, only to find two members of housekeeping in our room cleaning. Why? I paid until 11am, hadn’t checked out, and put a sign on the door. I mentioned it to the front desk and while he expressed surprise, there was no apology.

The only reason it was not 5 star was the fact that there is only a small pub w limited offerings. It would have been nice to have a little more activity in the lodge during the evening. Otherwise, no reason whatsoever to not stay here when in Leavenworth.

However, the 2 queen beds were very uncomfortable. Time to upgrade those beds or insert a mattress topper.

On the last day, we had to catch an early train back to Seattle. I asked the front desk about breakfast, but it hadn’t started yet, and we didn’t have time to wait, so we checked out. As we were leaving, a staff member ran out after us with two bags of breakfast. That was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Great location for visiting Leavenworth. We were able to walk everywhere and the room was spacious. The breakfast was also very good.

Location is the best. Nice having a bar in the Hotel. Love the big rooms and warm decorations in the hotel. Staff are first rate and care for the guests.

Got upgraded to a room overlooking the parking lot on second floor. Got charged again even I used booking.com.

Proximity to town is excellent. Pool & hot tub temperatures were very good. Onsite amenities were prety good for entertainment but lacked option for basic needs (like a little store). Better options for snacks, drinks, "mini-mart" options within the hotel for when the bar is closed could be improved.
