Everything about Historical Suites VVM was perfect - the best location in the center of the centro historico part of Lecce, beautiful building that has been in his wife’s family for many generations, and beautiful suite. It was very clean and had all the modern amenities we needed. They serve a very nice breakfast each morning. Nikos the owner was very attentive, great communicator and wanted to ensure we got to see all the best that Lecce has to offer. His recommendations on restaurants, cocktail bars, and sights to see were spot-on. Nothing - if we return to Lecce, we will stay here again!

We enjoyed everything about our stay in Historical Suites VVM. Our host Nikos was exceptional. He helped drive our car through the Historical area, gave perfect recommendations on sights to see, and provided a wonderful breakfast. He also gave us the history of the beautiful property. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The location was centrally located. I had just minutes' walk to every tour, duomo, restaurant, shopping. The breakfast was outstanding! Fresh Italian meats, cheeses, and pastries to die for. So well presented and plentiful. There was no need for lunch! And I cannot say enough about Nikos and his exceptional service and hospitality! Not applicable!

We liked everything about this place, especially our host Nikos. He provided excellent advice on sites to see and restaurants. He even parked our car and pulled it out of the tricky parking place inside the property. (I wish we had rented a smaller car) Breakfast was delicious, especially the Pasticciotto Leccese pastry. The property is located right in the middle of the historic old town and it is a short walk to most everything worth seeing. The building is historic, but also well renovated and maintained. We were very comfortable and well accommodated. This is our first stop in Italy on this trip and it has set a very high standard for every other place we will be staying. Given its location in the middle of the old town, there is a bit of street noise from people passing by. Nothing too bad.

The owner was very helpful and attentive. Fabulous location and the furnishings are all authentic and beautiful with a modern large bathroom with big walk-in shower. The location is right in the center and easy walking through the historic district. Loved staying there! Breakfast ok and he made us as much coffee as we wanted.

This home was built in 1800 and has been in the same family ever since. It truly was a step back in time. I felt like I was in a movie as I woke up and looked and the very high ceiling that they try to keep in its original design! Nikos, our host was very friendly and helpful! He shared stories of the past and helped us make the most of our couple of days in Lecce! We appreciated this attention very much!! Would definitely go back!! I loved the property and appreciated its, cleanliness, comfort and the hospitality!

It was in the center of everything. Very convenient to seeing the beautiful city of Lecce and the most famous sites. Nikos was extremely helpful. He made all sorts of recommendations, even marking up a map to help us find the best places in town. He also told us interesting details about the history of the hotel which made the stay even more special. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! Nothing. It was amazing.

It has everything that matters to me when I travel— a comfortable bed, room to spread out, a great shower and a great location. The bonus was the wonderful host, Nikos. He truly cares about his hotel and his guests. The coffee was drinkable but not great. It’s the only think I can think of that could be improved.

What a find! The location is perfect—right in the historic centre of Lecce, yet quiet and peaceful. Step outside the door and you are immediately immersed in the beauty and atmosphere of the city. The suites retain their remarkable historic character; staying here feels a bit like living in a small museum, with beautiful architectural details throughout. Breakfast offers many choices and is served in another lovely setting that complements the historic surroundings. Most of all, the hospitality stands out. Nikos is the perfect host—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Before booking, I read the excellent reviews. After spending almost a week here, I can confirm they are absolutely deserved. Amazing place to stay in Lecce! Our room was HUGE and beautiful, right in the heart of the old city. Nikos was literally the best host we've ever had. He met us at the gate and helped us drive into the property's parking spot. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants, tours, museums, day-trips, Masserias, He made a wonderful breakfast every day. He is honestly the best host. Wow!
