Very good for exploring Lecce Lived everything

Our second stay here was rather short, only one night this time, but still quite comfortable, excellent accommodations, friendly, and clean. Would definitely choose this place again.

What an absolute gem! This B&B was one of our favourites. The decor was beautiful and the breakfast in the common Kitchen area was superb. I’d recommend staying here to anyone. The proximity to entering the historic centre was close. And their dog Mimi was a highlight. I wish the AC was a little stronger but it would not stop me from staying again.

Our hosts and staff were very kind and accommodating and their little dog, too. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cool, despite the hot weather outside. Tasty breakfast included. The location is a short walk to the historic town center. Free street parking was available right outside their front door. A wonderful stay. Definitely would return. All good things to say about this place!

Great location, close to train station which worked well for us, but also close to city center. Decorations were beautiful and amenities were all provided. Lovely breakfast! The air conditioner did not work very well. It might be helpful if there was a ceiling fan or other oscillating fan to help circulate. Otherwise, a lovely place.

We loved Lecce SO much and what made it even more amazing was the hospitality of the owners of the most beautiful Palazzo Bignami. The location, parking and amenities could not be more perfect but it was the attention to detail in every aspect of this beautiful home and for the guest to enjoy that sets it apart. It truly is a gift to be guest in thier home. They were helpful yet we had our space and privacy. We were even served dinner on the most spacious roof terrace and it was phenomenal. The breakfast menu and dining area were the nicest of our most wonderful two and a half weeks in Southern Italy. I will forever be dreaming on many of thier special dishes and recipes. The staff members were most gracious and respectful. It truly felt like we were very special guest. The accommodations themselves were perfect and the decor and art work, a true surprise. The standards are high and our trip was blessed as were we by our stay at Palazzo Bignami. It would be the only place to consider and we hope to return.

This is a beautiful former monastery that offers a wonderful view of Matera in a perfect location. The owner Massimo is lovely and was helpful in providing ideas for exploration of the area. The breakfast was fabulous and the rooms are full of beauty and character. A lovely place to stay during a trip to Matera.

Very difficult to find free street parking.

This place was dreamy! It felt so homey and the decor is to die for! Perfect location and the owners are exceptional! I would give this place a hundred stars if I could!!! Highly recommend!!

The quality and presentation of breakfast was outstanding. The breakfast room was also a lovely experience. Our room was thoughtfully decorated, clean and comfortable. You absolutely can’t beat the location, steps to historic Lecce. We were so thankful we picked staying at Palazzo Bignami!

Palazzo Bignami was a complete pleasure. Liana and Enzo have created an elegant, comfortable urban space in the heart of Lecce. From the linens, to the breakfast, and the fantastic roof deck - we could not have asked for more. Thank You! Nothing.

Felt a bit pressured to get to the breakfast and not asked if we wanted anything eg more coffee

The room was spacious. We loved the extra seating and storage. The breakfast was generous with plenty of variety. The location is a few minutes walk to the Città vecchia. The showers are zero entry and the bathroom floors are travertine. Post shower floors are very slippery.

Clean comfortable and very accomadating hosts Need to use one key card to operate all power in our room or pay for an extra card. This made it very inconvenient to recharge phone and add battery chargers unless you are in the room.

So beautiful. The attention to detail was incredible. The hosts were fabulous and little Minnie the dog was a special treat! very clean delicious breakfast and just a beautiful environment right outside the historic center very convenient. Highly recommend! Nothing
