Very nicely decorated room within the old city of Lecce. The host was obliging and the room and ensuite was well kept. We didnt realise there were so many stairs to lug the suitcases up and down. There was a knack to opening the door with the key, good instructions helped

The property was spacious, clean and quiet. The shower hot. There was a wall heater which could pump hot or cold air - you may need cold in the day and hot at night in Lecce! There was a third bed so presumably you could sleep 3 in this room. There was a small table and an entry area which added to the feeling of space. I hadn’t realised you couldn’t check in until 4 pm which I think is absurdly late. The owner did give me the entry code to the property and I was able to leave my luggage in the unattended reception area. The owner was pleasant and efficient. I found a good wine bar, restaurant close by, The Miro, which seemed reasonably priced and had friendly staff. I think it was probably good value for money. However, despite being spacious the room only has one small window that opens onto a tiny enclosed area, The bed was too soft for my liking and the pillows so large that I had to sleep without them. I thought when I booked it had said breakfast was included in the price but it turned out there is just some free tea and coffee and dried toasts and marmalades, etc, and that is the free breakfast. I was left wondering that if I had chosen somewhere slightly more expensive, would I have had a much better experience. I think it would be a good choice for a family of 3 on a budget.

Had a lovely stay while in Lecce. Bed and pillows are so comfortable. Room is beautiful with nice design of the ceiling. Mauricio the owner is so hospitable and went above and beyond to help his guests. Would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Lecce. Also perfect location right in the middle of old town and yet so quiet at night away from major streets. Nothing!

The apartment is located in a quiet area of Lecce's old town, and is comfortable for staying and convenient for visiting the major attractions which are in a short walking distance. Maurizio was a very friendly host, and was in touch with us before and through our trip, and helped us accomadate quickly The major drawback was that the airconditioning does not reach the upper floor of the apartment, making it hard to sleep there in hot weather.

The location is amazing. A small and quiet street, that is situated in the heart of the old city. The owner, Maurizio, is super nice and helpful. He was always available and was very friendly. The shower is small. There is a small bin in the bathroom so if you’re staying for few days and eat at the room it might not be comfortable. A kitchen towel and a good cutting knife will turn the kitchenette from lovely to perfect.
