Location It was fine

A beautiful location in the heart of Lecce. Everything was perfect. The hosts mother, Tina, prepared a beautiful breakfast every morning. She was so kind. Nothing

Host's mother prepared excellent breakfast, was very accommodating with what was included. Excellent.
-
Rustic and charming. Authentic B&B where the owner makes you breakfast. Right in the historic center. You can hear what’s happening outside, but it’s a quiet street so this was acceptable

Tina was a great cook and so helpful! Not close to parking

Great , quiet location easy walk to everything. Breakfast was amazing, every morning was different with different homemade pastries and fresh fruit. Your mother is a gem, so sweet! The shower is a bit tiny and the toilet paper holder falls off constantly . Toilet seat needs replacing

Everything was perfect. The breakfast was immensely good. I truly loved every bit of the place. none.

Excellent host, excellent location, comfortable bed, very clean and good breakfast. Would have loved tea and coffee facility or kettle in the room. Towels were old and worn. Need hooks in the bathroom.

Location, location, location - fantastic with a great restaurant just 100m away. Spacious and very clean. Breakfast was mainly sweet cakes, homemade and delicious with some fruit, coffee and juice. More than enough to set you up for the day. Wifi dipped in and out at times which was annoying. The room is not sound proofed so some noise could be heard from outside. That said, I would stay again for the location and quality of the room.

This is a hidden jewel in the old cittadina. I wouldnt hesitate to grab a room here if you can. It is just the best- the owners are fabulous, they served an incredible breakfast. The mother- Tina- baked the goodies herself and she is wonderful. The son, Francesco, is the pinnacle of grace and well manners. What a wonderful stay I had. Nothing wrong-

loved the owners fresh breakfast the person answering the call could have been friendlier …

We had a five day stay and each morning the breakfast was different. Some excellent homemade pastries and the like. The hostess was very gracious and although there was a language barrier (we do not speak Italian) we managed to communicate and smiles are barrier free. An excellent location as the area was quiet but very close to a very active old town. We requested two beds and we were provided as much. The second smaller bed was up a very steep staircase. No big deal but it did require some extra caution when using the washroom facilities during the night.

Great location in the center of all of the action, wonderful breakfast each day, very clean, awesome AC, very nice staff! Great "home-base" from which to take several day trips to nearby cities. We would definitely stay here again. My wife and I would HIGHLY recommend. Wifi was difficult, but to be fair, based on the stone construction in the region connectivity was challenging in many places.

Lo Scrigno Barocco is a wonderful, hospitable and quiet place in Lecce's historic centre; the hosts a very friendly, helpful und look after their guests in a pleasantly caring way: they offer a lush, home-made breakfast; I felt very comfortable and can only recommend the place. A big thankyou to Mama Dina and Francesco.

That my vacation had to end. :)

The breakfast was excellent. The best we ever had in Italy. Homemade cake etc. fruit juice and fresh fruit. It was personal and very nice. The room was very central but nevertheless very quiet. The wifi was suddenly no more there. That was a problem. Maybe because we stayed 5 days. We had to write and it could be solved.

It felt like I was sleeping in the Barocco museum. It’s very centric, but you can hear all the passing by loud speaking people. The host was nice and welcoming, gave me a bottle of water when I arrived on my bike. My first impression was the smell. In the living room was a smell of electronic cigarets (I can’t stand any kind of smoke smell). And in my private room there also was strange smell but I couldn’t understand what kind of .. maybe the antique building is old and that comes along. WiFi was not working good , I had to use my data of internet. And breakfast is NOT a standard European breakfast….i didn’t like it .. sorry (although hosts were trying to do their best ) it was super sweet pies and some green fruits .. which I could eat with yougur, and also bruschetta.. my stomach didn’t feel “happy” after that.

Great location in the historic center. Host was most attentive and nice. Breakfast (coffee, juice, pastries, fruit and yoghurt) was more than what I could eat. Room was great, charming and elegant in a very old building.
