The room decor was very dated and was different to the advertised pictures, notable the bathroom which was nowhere near what I would expect from a 4-star hotel. Whilst the room was mostly clean, I noticed several cobwebs along the ceiling and walls, as well as other marks along the wall. The A/C didn't work, which was an advertised key feature. As I booked during the heatwave, it was a reason I chose the hotel despite cheaper alternatives nearby that did not advertise air conditioning. I was moved to a room next door, which also did not work. The key card system was also very temperamental, requiring inserting several times to unlock the room.

It's unclear what the advantage is of checking in on the app. At 3pm for check in the queues were long.

The bed was super comfy, with storage as per our requirements The shower has a fixed head, so if you don't want to get your hair wet, or wanted to reach specific areas, this wasn't possible and was frustrating

Excellent location, nice comfortable rooms with amazing views over Leeds (if you're on floor 2 or higher). The staff were very friendly and the breakfast good.

The location was excellent and it looks great in the reception area. The cleanliness, well the rooms and the stairs area was extremely dated and worn so maybe it looked so dirty from just how scuffed and damaged everything was.

Rooms were lovely and the beds really clean and comfortable. Staff were really helpful, upgraded our bed sizes and late check out. Location isn’t great in terms of parking, the recommended car park was quite a walk which was inconvenient with all our luggage. After being out in Leeds our key card wasn’t working for the electricity so had no lighting and couldn’t charge our phones etc.

Beds were really comfortable, quiet location and the room was matching the value paid. We reported a terrible noise in our room in the morning, returned at 5 nothing had been done, reported again, came back in later at night and still not fixed. The emergency lighting just outside the room was buzzing so loud and this continued in the room. Along with a nightclub noise from 11-4am wasn't great. Staff was lukewarm on check in to say the least. On check out after reporting again the same issue and advising that no other guests stay in that room until it was sorted was just met with I'm sorry. The rooms are very tired but the beds are very comfortable.
