Ionion Star Hotel

Location good, pool good, staff generally friendly and helpful, breakfast pretty average, room a but tired but clean. Breakfast was not particularly appetising.

Service: front desk and bar service could be much better.

the beda are the worst I have slept on for years. not clean. bad smell. very old

The location was amazing. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There was no kettle in the room to make ourselves coffee. The light on the balcony didnt work. There was no shampoo in the dispenser in the shower and no soap in the dispenser by the bathroom sink. Breakfast was very boring with no variation - no salads, no fruit besides watermelon, no yogurt, no pancakes, no omelet, no fried potatoes. All the food was very basic and the same every day. The furniture and decor was very old. We were very confused by the profusion of fake flowers mixed with real plants. In short, they are desperate for the services of an interior designer. But if you're blind and just need a place to sleep, it's GREAT!

The property was so welcoming best location. Ari and staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had an amazing balcony and the pool was phenomenal. Bathtubs could be upgraded

Just because was in the center of the city It was a very hot day when we arrive and the disapointnent was that in the lobby was not air conditioned and it was very hot in there. The other thing is that there is no Parking on the property you have to park your car at city parking area and then you have to walk back 15 minutes in the hot ..

The location was perfect in the center of everything. Just need to update the bathroom and room overall clean . front desk staff was nice and the cleaning lady was so nice. I would recommend to My family and friends Breakfast could have been better. Eggs were over cooked

breakfast was large and OK. place has a small pool. Very noisy hallways with concrete floors. Hollow core doors to rooms with large gap. Inside room door helped, obviously this was a problem they addressed. No effort by staff to corral people congregating in hallway. old musty carpet. Absolutely bizarre lobby decor.

Well located close to the city center; Large room with water view; balcony with chairs & table; good mattress and bedding; small fridge; nice reception. No negative comments.

Exceptional location close to everything in the town and the port. Walking distance to many local sights including the local Amoglossa beach and provides full service. Hotel has a great pool - rare in this location. Loved to lounge at the pool and have a cocktail or doffe after a hot day on the beach. The front desk is 24 hours and always availeble to help with whatever you need. Reserve a room with a view of the water and the mainland and you will love it. Full breakfast (hot and cold offerings) in the morning to start your day. Wi-fi was great. I am planning on returning next year.

some staff trying their best, nice view. Most uncomfortable beds I've ever used, triple room was one small double and a single no floor space to manoeuvre, over priced. Has the potential to be a great hotel but needs renovating and better beds.

The hotel was very centrally located, with good facilities. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of options, both hot and cold. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was that there was a swimming pool, and we made good use of that during our stay. We would have liked to see some information (even just a printed sheet in the room) about the history of the hotel, as it had some interesting features. It did have a slightly corporate feel, but the staff were friendly and efficient.

Convenient location and appreciated being able to leave our bags in storage while we traveled by catamaran for a week. The pool was quite nice but a bit tired. The first man on the front desk was quite unfriendly and when we asked about our safe in the room not working we didn’t get a very nice response. As this was one of the requirements of our stay we insisted that we needed this and were sent to two different rooms before we got a working safe. Not a great start to our stay however we found the rest of the staff very friendly and helpful.
