Dolkhar Ladakh

The first thing you notice is that it feels like heaven — everything is accurate and precise. The second is that not a single worker fails to smile and make you feel welcome. Honestly, there’s nothing I would change — everything was exactly as it should be. The only thing I might suggest, just as an extra touch, would be adding a hot tub or jacuzzi to complete the experience.

The Dolkhar Resort surpassed my expectations in every way. From a team that was beyond attentive to the understated but intentional and serene grounds and facilities, to the best food in town, selecting the Dolkhar for my stay in Leh made for an exceptional experience. Location Service Food

We stayed in off season (February) for 5 nights and it was an amazing 5 star resort experience. Staff was exceptionally friendly polite, sympathetic and helpful. The Tsas restaurant is outstanding and the complimentary 5 star - Ladakhi curated breakfast is an experience we never had before. The area is peaceful and we also used the well maintained complimentary spa and sauna area. The massage treatment was very helpful for my wife with a tense back. Feedback for the rooms: The air here in Ladakh is quite dry, therefore a humidifier in the villas might help the guests adjusting. The sofa area can be quite cold in winter so either sealed doors or additional heating near the sofa would be more comfortable. Thr upstairs bedroom and bathroom was very comfortable and warm.

The infrastructure and staff behavior and the food is out of the world. One thing they can provide in rooms is moisturizer also.

It was truly a boutique property as advertised and ticked all the boxes... Food was exceptional in quality and presentation. It was a superb fusion of Ladakhi ingredients and recipes with contemporary style. We went there for a couple of meals and ended up staying with them for 3 nights....!!! Totally unplanned and totally worth it....!! The staff and the gracious owner, Ms.Rigzin, went out of their way to help us source a few of the things she had used in her resort. The rooms were in Duplex style with common area at the bottom and the bed room and bathroom on the first floor. Very stylish furniture and accessories, all with a Ladakhi twist. Heating and Air conditioning were excellent and did not feel like LEH in November... (Outside temperature was -3 degrees Centigrade at night..!!) All in all one of the best places to stay in LEH for my money.... Non-Vegetarian food was not available so if you are a Non-Veg fan this place is to be avoided..... Also the Television in the room did not have any OTT Apps installed and apparently did not have the facility to download the same inspite of it being a SMART TV.... This should be addressed so guests have the option to watch content with their own login credentials instead of being limited to YouTube....!!

Highly recommend for a quick getaway from Delhi! Great service and people.

The room and the property. They had limited options of food. The quality of the food was not good. The taste of water was also not good. They need to improve the quality of the food.

We could not be more grateful to have chosen Dolkhar Resort as our base for exploring Ladakh in late September 2024. The overall experience was beyond perfect and really made a huge difference to our travel. We were so impressed by how everything was coherent and beautifully curated in such remote location. The property is really flawless and done in such good taste. Everything is sustainable without any compromise on the comfort and aesthetics. We loved every detail of it. Their lovely staff helped us arrange everything before coming and define the itineraries for both the local trips while staying in Leh as well as the few days trip to the more remote locations. Everyone was extremely kind and looked after us during our stay. We ate at Tsas restaurant everyday and tried probably all the dishes which were local or modern interpretation of the local cuisine and each time it was a beautiful experience. It was clear to us that the people behind Dolkhar have put a lot of heart and thought to make this place so special. Thank you so much to everyone at Dolkhar for this exceptional experience and making our travel so perfect and easy. Everything was perfect
