Snow Lion Ladakh

I stayed at hotel for three nights, we were 04 adults and 02 kids, Property is located at nice location with rooms offering mountain and Shanti Stupa View. Rooms give traditional Ladakhi feel during stay. Luckily we got snow during our stay (18-20 April) and weather just got super pleasant. Garden of the hotel has apricot and blossoms making a scenic view from hotel room. Staff is very helpful and gives a homely feel. Food is very tasty, all breakfast, lunch and dinner options are suitable for vegetarians. Overall Snow Lion is one of the best option to stay in leh.

I adored our stay here. Anu and all the other staff are so warm, attentive, caring and helpful. It’s a rare and wonderful experience to truly feel at home away from home - and this is what the Snow Lion is for me and so many others. Beautifully appointed rooms, spacious, clean, warm and wonderful views of the pretty garden and the mountains. A gorgeous restaurant - really comfortable and the most delicious food. We loved everything!

Staff - the staff make this place what it is. Take them away and I'm sure there are other places as nice, but they wouldn't be a patch on Snow Lion. Anu leads the team and is a great source of knowledge. She goes out of her way to give you the best advice and gain the best services. Unlike some other places we have stayed at, we know that what she comes up with is not designed to get the best return for Snow Lion, but to give the customer the best experience. Trust her and you won't go far wrong. I have reviewed before and have not changed my views from then. Don't know when I'll be back but know that we'll be given a warm welcome once again. Leaving?.

It was HOME ?

A wonderful place, real gem. I was welcomed extremely warmly and made to feel at home. The location is great - in a quiet place, 15 minutes walk from Leh Market. Spacious, sunny room with a balcony overlooking a quiet garden. Very clean, plenty of hot water, good WiFi. Delicious breakfast. However, what makes the place exceptional are the people there and their attitude towards the guests. Thanks, Anu Pama! I would return with great pleasure one day and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel!

At the very first step into this place we've fell in love with the hotel personel. All our needs and whishes was complete and done by them in full. All the facilities are in place. Tasty breakfasts and a nice garden to take a sit in a shade with the cup of tea. Snow Lion team is just the best. All great nothing to add

When we arrived we didn't think much of this hotel from the street view. But when you enter the garden's side, pick up a few apples from the trees, and meet Anu, we knew we were in for a special treat. We stayed 6 nights, 1 of them was spent on Lake Pangong at Man. We had a room on the first floor facing the garden with a small balcony. The room was comfortable but what makes this hotel unique is the friendly atmosphere. Everything is done to help guests (including helping them adapt to the altitude), whatever their needs are. Breakfast are good. We had one dinner there (Leh has many great restaurants) and we enjoyed the food. We had a great memorable stay! We miss Anu and the team!

The hospitality was amazing. Anu provided a guide to Leh market and best cafe and restaurant with items to try out. They were all super tasty. The hotel has an amazing garden with an apple orchard. Ee tried local ladakhi ?

Good location, very supportive staff Nothing

Host Anu and her staff just exceed all your expectations. They make you feel like you're the most anticipated guest she's been looking to welcome. Food is fantastic, rooms are nice and cosy, the garden view is spectacular but what beats everything is their hospitality and ginger lemon honey tea. Just doesn't get any better. Absolutely nothing to dislike about this place.

Set amongst a small orchard, the property is not in the heart of town (so that keeps noise pollution on the lower side). On the other hand it’s a nice downhill walk to the main market area. The staff are truly outstanding. If term “going above and beyond the call of duty” can apply to hospitality, then the crew here, led by Anu and Arnab deserve a medal of some sort.

Everything! My room was a bit too close to reception, so i could hear all the time someone talk, but it was only till 22.00than i could easily rest:)

We had an amazing stay at snowlion ? they took care of us from our day or arrival till the end. They made our stay in Leh incredible, always here to help and give advice. Garden is peacefull and beautifull, breakfast is delicious, the house is so nice and with all the staff (no exception) you feel like being part from the snowlion family. The most amazing hospitality I have ever received in my entire life. There is no two doubts about where I am going next when I’m in leh. Both Anu and Arnab are the most beautiful people at heart. They genuinely like hospitality and they enjoy serving people. That alone says a lot about them. They make you feel better than being at your favourite place on this planet. Thank you!

A wonderful stay at Snow Lion Ladakh! Anu and Arnab have both been very warm and helpful making our family stay the ideal the 3 days we were expecting before a challenging trek. Anu has gone to every length to inform us on how to acclimate as well as possible, connect us with every services we needed (transportation, medical etc...) and Arnab has shared his many years of experience on trekking in the region. Everything you are told about the property is absolutely correct. The place is idyllic, calm and has the basic required amenities. It is nestled away from the dirty bustle which leh has now become. Yet, it is a short walk only from the main market. The best part is that Arnab, Anu and Manoj are genuinely interested in organising your trip to your best advantage. All rates are reasonable and you may be given an undue discount too. That is hospitality at its best. We were treated like family and cared for with a very cordial gentleness. It's a steal at the rates they are offering. Take the option inclusive of breakfast. The menu changes everyday and it's hearty and tasty.

Cosy place, close to the city center (around 15-20 min walk), but very quiet. Lots of flowers and fruit trees around, magnificent view of the mountains. Food is good, staff is very helpful and friendly. There is filtered drinking water always available to the guests. Wi-fi was alright, we couldn't expect more from a remote (-ish) place like this. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
