When we first arrived the check in was completely virtual and we had to wait outside where homeless people were asking the guests for money until they finally allowed us to come inside to check in. The individual checking us in hardly spoke English and terribly difficult to understand. When we got to our room they gave us a room with a single bed even though I paid extra to have one with two beds. The floor was dirty, the fridge was dirty and there was trash from previous guests. All of the bedding was stained and had crumbs in it. The bathroom door did not fully shut and I was traveling with a coworker so sharing a bed and having to use the bathroom with the door not fully closing was awkward. The Tv when on would sometimes shut off on its own and had to be turned back on and off multiple times to start working again. Sometimes when turned back on the volume would not be working either. During all hours of the day the property smelled heavily of marijuana and we just felt very unsafe here.

Sheets were not changed from last guest and had dirt and hair in bed sheets. Room floor was so dirty not even mopped. No human was in the office and you had to talk ti a screen that was slow and it took over half hour to get a room key from the mechanic screen.

Tv didn’t work, the outdoor communal microwave (which is already a grid concept) was not clean, my mattress kept making box spring noises, the headboard had a dent in it like it had been punched, not even a cup was provided in the room for water or whatnot…. And the area is super sketchy there were homeless people walking in the hotel parking lot. For $200 a night, I feel ripped off.

We had booked for two nights, but on our first night at around 1am, the room next to us started blasting music with a bass that shook the room. When we reported it to the office they told us they would send someone. After waiting with no success we proceeded to call back 4 times to complain, and on the fourth call they told us to just call 911 because no one was in the office. We ended up leaving at 2:30 to stay somewhere else and did not stay for our second night. If you cannot control the people staying on your property, you should not be in business. Told me over the phone they would issue me a refund that night, but then fought me on it the next day when I called to sort it out. Very gross, incredibly unprofessional, and an absolute hole .

It was horribly place to stay. The pictures that was seen on website was not the same as what we had.. Bugs on the floor. Floor was sticky, TV remote control was sticky. AND television was not working. A/C did not work. Inform staff of issue and nothing was done. The place should be shut down.

Unfortunately, booking this hotel was a bad idea. Not ideal for a family or a woman alone. The area itself was sketchy, lots of movement all hours of the night. Mechanic work going on, arguing and Ambulance arrived early in the morning. The Bathroom had so many things needing maintenance/repair. Holes in the walls, broken toilet, literally. Mini fridge was disgusting and old. Stains on the doors and walls. Blinds broken and just overall needs to be remodeled and repaired. Luckily, staff member understood why we wanted to check out the following day after booking for several nights and helped us with a refund.

Clean room very nice

I checked in around 10PM and shortly after arriving in the room, I realized how dirty it was. The pillow cases were stained, there were burn marks in the sheets. Worst of all, when going to take a shower, there was long strands of hair in the tub AND wash clothes hanging from the shower bar that had pubic hair on them. It was disgusting.

As a result, I was unable to sleep at all during the night. I checked in at 10:00 PM and left at 6:00 AM without getting any sleep. This was a very disappointing experience.

Room 232 is the room I stayed with my kids and we had a scary experience. First of all the place looks super sketchy. The worst part is on the cabinet next to our beds my 8 year old found a fully loaded magazine she grabbed it and was freaking out. I reached out the expedia because I booked with them and they were no help. The hotel has a kiosk that I didnt even feel safe to go. Definitely Not a place for a family to be in.

Great stay

The room was so small that there was no place to hang up our clothes. And, when I needed a towel and a blanket, there were none available. The bed was comfortable.

AGAIN upon check in the manager was informed of my CHOICE HOTELS MEMBERSHIP which her property is enrolled in ......RODEWAY @ Lemon Grove CA...Also my reservation Special Requested a Fridge n Micro in room....MGR claims my reservation was THIRD PARTY not applicable....no micro in room but community micro was filthy...Definate AIR of Criminal Mischief at this EAST COUNTY motel.... .DNR

No good dirty toilet not working

Located between a Food4Less and a Home Depot. No pool or breakfast. Room had a large TV and small refrigerator. No restaurants nearby.
