Excellent breakfast and perfect location

Excellent selection of buffet breakfast, private cozy beach, staff very helpful, kind and professional, cleanliness of the hotel and surrounding area was superb. Private parking included and easily accessible.

Breakfast options were great (especially the bakery). Lovely view, and the beach staff seemed to be very friendly. We left this property two nights early due to uninhabitable conditions and the lack of appropriate customer service. Note: this was an economy room. I am wondering whether the rooms that are in the upper building don’t have the same reeking smell and might be better. At check-in, I requested a different room. The staff member told me to wait until the next morning to discuss it further. After the first night, the odor in the room was overwhelming. It aggravated my asthma to the point that I could not climb the property’s stairs without shortness of breath. When I raised this urgently with the manager the following morning, my concerns were reframed as though I only wanted an “upgrade.” No solution was offered, and the property refused to acknowledge the problem. There were witnesses to these exchanges, yet the hotel continues to maintain a gaslighting attitude in writing, even going so far as to claim there was “no risk to my health” and that “mold must be visible to exist.” (!!!) Just know: if you do encounter any issue here, it will not be addressed. Even small requests were dismissed — we observed staff rolling their eyes at another guest simply asking for water. We left early, forfeiting two prepaid nights, not because of room size or view, but because the conditions were unfit for a guest with an ability to smell and management was unwilling to respond appropriately.

This hotel was everything I was looking for - a perfect beach vacation in a quieter area. Stunning views, wonderful staff, great restaurants nearby. We loved the beach bar (perhaps too much)!

Price The customer experience consistently fell short of expectations, marked by several key issues: - There was a significant lack of effort made to accommodate requests and wishes. - The check-in process was unpleasant and risky. Guests can use the parking until check-in was complete, leaving them vulnerable on the hotel's narrow surrounding road – an issue noted by other guests previously. - Remote Location: The nearest grocery store is a 45-minute walk (over 3km) away, making essential errands difficult. - Poor Breakfast: Breakfast quality was notably low, well below typical Italian standards. - Rules-Driven Environment: The establishment felt overly governed by rules and policies, making it difficult to understand everything and detracting from a relaxing vacation atmosphere.

I wish they had coffee or tea in the rooms so that I could enjoy sitting in my balcony with the sea view more

It was the most wonderful stay we could have wished for ever. The most wonderful and accommodating staff anyone could ask for. The shower was extremely small.

The location with the sea view and the private beach is stunning. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of different foods - so it does not get boring, even if you stay there for a week. Our room overlooked the beach, so we could sleep to the sound of the waves and the singing of the birds in the nearby trees. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. It was close to perfect. The only thing missing for me personally would have been a water kettle with tea in the room - since we were there for a cooler, rainy week. But I guess we could have gotten some tea from the hotel bar, if we had asked. So this is not really anything to complain about. We actually liked everything.

Beach area was beautiful. Free use of kayaks was great. The swimming area, chairs and umbrellas were well laid out. Beach bar had nice food and refreshments. Breakfast was very nice with good variety and great tea and coffee. All staff were courteous, warm and friendly eager to improve our stay. Restaurants a very short distance from our hotel were fantastic. Allot to enjoy about staying at Il Nido. Nothing to dislike.

Excellent location, didn’t need to move for the 2 full days we were there. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Could borrow kayaks and a snorkel. Breakfast was great - lots of choice. Lunch in beach bar was good value and tasty. No restaurant but plenty nearby. Don’t go to this hotel if you don’t like steps/stairs.
