21c Museum Hotel Lexington

We enjoyed the trip and stay at 21c.

Will still stay there again, but I'll wait till restaurant and bar are open again. It would have been nice if they notified us when we booked.

It’s just OK there’s much better properties in the area

Very cool historical building. The room was amazing and the staff was so helpful.

The staff were not always at the front desk, but the car valet was helpful in tracking them down. We unfortunately missed our opportunity to have the room cleaned as we were getting ready to go out, but she couldn't return. The next day I asked to have the room refreshed as I did not want them coming again in the afternoon, but it was a minimum of service. The hotel is in an excellent location. It is in an old bank building and has an art gallery. There is a Marriott Residence Inn just across the road, and we enjoyed both of their restaurants, one of which is a rooftop bar and restaurant with great views of Lexington, and the other a great Italian one.

Check in was NG. Ekeys would not work, went back to front desk and got new keys from hostess, the new keys would not work, went back to front desk again and ask for a different room and the check in hostess was not friendly - wanted me to wait for Hotel Engineering to go up and look at door while my wife stood in the hall with our luggage. It was not clear to me at all why i couldn't just get a different room and they could fix the door issue on their own time (it was a week-night / non-event night and the hotel was really empty. The only redeeming quality of the 21C Lexington is its location. It's sorely in need of a makeover and update, a comfy lobby is nonexistent, the restaurant is closed for makeover, their's no bar, and the parking situation trying to check in and out is a hot mess. Toss in a surly front kiosk hostess and it's a no go. Miles to go to get the 21c back to its origins.

We were so disappointed with this hotel we checked out a day early. Some of the outlets didn't work in our room, the phone didn’t work. They said they would get me a small fridge for my medication and then said they couldn’t. It was a very disappointing experience.

Location. A bartender who stayed late to take care of us after we saw a lay.

There was issues with the air conditioner.... the room was very warm and the air conditioner turned off in the middle of the night.

We love the location and cool vibes. Great for UK visiting.

Nice big corner room - which was very clean. Hotel very centrally located.

My only disappointment was that the art gallery in the building was temp closed for the day and it was my only day there. Next time 21C!

Coffee maker would not work in the room, toilet was not functioning when I arrived, restaurant and bar were under construction, a few signs of wear and tear in the units.

Everything was so clean and we absolutely loved the artwork!!! Great location!!!!

I love this chain and stay at them whenever possible… It’s a shame they don’t offer a frequent Stay program. They really are hip, well located, and well appointed.
