Food was very good - and very satisfying. We liked the welcoming atmosphere ( the vibe) - the staff were all friendly and helpful. More greens, with salad as a choice, to accompany their delicious entrees

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We loved spending time in the cozy sitting room, chatting with other guests. The meals were exceptional. The dining room is beautiful. There are nearby hikes that were wonderful. I can't think of anything bad!

We stayed 2 nights at The Wheatsheaf. The beds were very comfortable, the location was wonderful, the staff were all amazing, and the food in the restaurant and at breakfast was superb. Highly recommended. We cannot think of anything we didn't like.
-
very friendly staff at dinner helpful and patient. The hotel wanted more money to take a dog even though Booking.com confirmed no extra charge..

Noisy person in room next door watching loud TV until past midnight.

We're a family of 3 and stayed in the annex. Comfortable bed, clean rooms and nice little touches such as biscuits and hot chocolate with the tea and coffees. Directly outside the pub is a pathway that takes you through farmers fields to Aysgarth falls. A beautiful walk with stunning views and just what was needed after a great pub dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the day. Already planning out next stay Nothing, everything was catered for.

Friendly helpful staff, great food and nice comfortable room .

Large comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and dinners. Staff was very attentive at all times. Good place from which to hike to Bolton Castle and Aysgarth Falls. We would definitely stay at The Wheatsheaf Inn again. Just one small thing. Some hooks in the bathroom would be nice.

The staff gave an excellent service. The food & drink were very good quality, definitely recommend the cooked breakfast!!!! Plenty of choices. The historic pub has a lovely ambience, set in the quaint village of Carperby. Opposite the pub is a walking route to the Aysgarth Falls, which is absolutely stunning! The whole place is spotlessly clean. We loved it! Dog friendly too! & they loved it ?✨ No complaints!
