The location is fine because it's 5 mins walk to Lierganes train station. There is train every hour but it's slow and takes 1 hr to Santander terminal costs €5.7 for return tickets. Carrefour supermarket is only 5mins walk. Not many restaurants around, lack of choice. €26 dinner in hotel for 2 courses are way too expensive. The Thermal pool opens from 4-8pm. However they turned off the heat and water jets at 7pm. Pool water has too much chlorine I think, it's very choking and made us cough. No kettle in the room but they provide hot and cold water in the breakfast room 24hrs. Breakfast is fine, fruits, bread, cornflakes, ham, bread, coffee, milk, juice. Although buffet breakfast is from 8-11am but make sure you have it before 10am otherwise they won't give you the Spanish hams, melons and pastries. Staffs are all very nice , they speak very limited English but so far we communicated well. They allowed free late check out. The hotel area looks like a retirement area and 90% guests are elderly and have treatments there. A bit dated but has it 's own charm. Thermal Circus in the sister hotel next door is disappointing because water is not warm enough, only 30°C like soaking in cold water. It's not enjoyable. At least need to be 34°C. We changed to Sauna finally which was better, at least it provided warmer water in the jacuzzi and heated stone recliners.

Grand old girl with tired charm. Breakfast of meat and cheese selections plus fruit all rounded up with croissants, toast and jam. We had a room on the roadside traffic noise early in the morning from 4am

Rooms spacious and clean, easy parking We booked for 3 persons and they gave us 2 rooms, one with 2 beds and one with 3 beds, so we paid double because we could have been arranged directly in the 3 beds rooms. Cost really high for location and building (rooms were spacious but the place needs to be renewed) . The receptionists did not speak English

I read some bad reviews, not sure why. The staff was friendly, they offered to store my bike in a safe place. The room was large, traditionally furnished and clean, so was the bathroom.

- Room and private bathroom were OK. - The staff of the nearby Balneario hotel were so kind to let me park freely in their nice parking lot, which is surrounded by a nice park. - Check-in. That was terrible. It took nearly 40 minutes. Basically, if you arrive at the facility late at night (i.e., 10 p.m.), the front desk is already closed. So you have to get to the nearby Balneario hotel, and check in there. It's a three minutes' walk, but with the luggage and everything it might be tiring. Also, the clerk at the reception might not know anything about your arrival, and this slow things down. - Breakfast. As you can see from the picture below, things get really annoying at breakfast. The place is swarmed with people, but there is only one coffee machine, and unbeareably slow to boot. Also, buffet selection is poor.

not a lot no parking, you must climb two flights of steps to reach lift, no good for anybody with mobility issues, room sparse, paint peeling of radiators, wardrobe doors, no parking for car on site , a real tired old hotel that could do with a refurbish
