The location is close to shops and services , and you feel safe walking around the area! We would have liked there to be a laundry service. Just that

The saving grace of this experience was the wonderful woman behind the desk; she was very personable and helpful. The outside of the hotel was very attractive. It is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants and banks a few blocks away. According to the photos, I may have gotten the only room that was in desperate need of renovation and honestly it was decrepit. The wall to wall carpet had multiple large stains and obvious holes in the floor underneath. If only they paid as much attention to the inside of the building as they do to the outside it may have been worth the price I paid for a room in such horrible condition.

I didn’t like the breakfast. Only took it once

Very traditional, it was like going to one on those houses in Chosica back in the 60’s Not that I didn’t like but it was a little difficult to find the hotel because the front does not resemble the picture in the add, I think the name of the hotel should be posted outside

I noticed that there was a possible charge for a small dog. OK but the initial additional fee was quoted as $40 for a room that was only $60. Then I was told that the quoted amount was a mistake and we ended up at $15 for the pet for one night. The other issue was that there possibly was waiving of an IVA tax for non-Peruvian's but the described documentation was a foreign passport and an immigration card. There is no card issued as you just enter Peru with a passport. The explanation implied both were needed with no exception. We ultimately did not pay the IVA tax but trying to figure out the cost of this property vs. others was not worth the time and, also, there was no WiFi.

Such a pretty place to stay-inside and out. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast superb!

Location. Old historic property tired. Dated. Basic and in much need of an update. Could be wonderful if upgraded. The breakfast was basic and all would be fine for a budget traveller. 3 stars seems generous. Booking advertised 2 king beds in one room and one in another. They were all double beds.

Casa Bella was a lovely place to stay during our time in Lima - the area was beautiful, safe and with lots to see and do in. The property itself is great with a lovely garden and we had a huge room with a fridge in! Michael was amazing throughout the stay - he helped us when a taxi driver didn’t have change which was so kind. We’re very grateful to him. The breakfast could be a bit more plentiful but was still pretty good with fresh cooked eggs

Mickael was very helpful to answer all our questions during our stay. He also was instrumental with arranging a driver to go on a tour in the south. will return for sure.

The outstanding feature of this hotel is the service provided by Michael the manager. He greets you like a long lost friend and he looks after you like you’re a part of the family. He certainly goes the extra mile to ensure your stay here as enjoyable as possible. It’s an old house with quaint features but everything you need is there. My room was enormous and the bathroom well equipped if a little dated. It’s located in a very quiet part of the city which is safe to walk in which is a major plus for me. There are plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance and Michael of course will recommend where to go. Likewise there is a big supermarket in that same area. Was delighted with my stay here and was quite sad to leave. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend it to other travellers. There was nothing I disliked as such. Just be aware it’s not a modern building. There’s no lift to the upper floors but Michael and his team will carry heavy bags if you’re not able.

Really lovely staff, Michael went above and beyond. They even gave us a very early check in when we arrived at 6am. Room was lovely and a great location. Also really cosy, beautiful communal spaces. Particularly good value for money. Breakfast was so-so.
