Paolino is the best host. He goes out of his way to make things right. No fans.

They made me feel welcome and made a good breakfast. Great value for money, clean and very quiet in a great location ten minutes from the airport. I'd definitely stay there again. Nothing, very impressed and happy!

Rooms are clean, and the property is close to the airport, the hostel can arrange for taxi service but do let know in advance (24 hours). I had to stay in Lima for 5 days because of a bone fracture, the staff is very attentive and helpfull, I’m glad that I chose this Hotel. The neighborhood is not the best in Callao, not an area you can walk around to explore at night, day time it feels safe enough.

I accidentally showed up way before check-in time and they put in extra effort to get a room cleaned up and ready so I didn't have to walk around for 5 hours. I really appreciated it, the place was clean and the staff was very helpful.

It was very noise. It was during the weekday but someone was playing music and partying all night.

Near the airport. Very helpful host: accompanied me to find a restaurant and a taxi. Deserted Street.

I could book when I was in a hurry. They didn't accept any card, although in booking they said they do. I went from the airport in Lima, in the middle of the night, spent money, and had to go back to the airport since I didn't have anywhere else to go due the hour. Me, my husband and one more couple headed back with our luggages. Worst experience ever.

Stable shower. Cleanliness is still okay. We were there for the second time in almost a year and had to realize that it was no longer a hotel in the Ayenda chain, but just a hostal/guesthouse that was run by a somewhat quirky man. The name on Booking is wrong, it is now called "Hostal Fresas". Upon arrival, he explained to us the pricing system for taxis in Peru and why the trip direct from the airport is so expensive, as if we didn't know it ourselves, we've been here quite often. So I showed little interest in the explanations. Somehow he didn't get it and just kept talking to my wife. Seems to be a record that he plays with every guest. Card payment was not possible, which is a no-go for an accommodation that calls itself a hotel. The gentleman didn't even have a computer or cell phone to match the reservation with and only asked to be shown my cell phone. He said he only offers accommodation by reservation. He apparently does this via booking.com, for which he has no access, or directly by phone. And worst of all: he handed us the key to the front door of the hostal. He is said to be often away or busy. Is this supposed to be a hotel? There is no 24-hour reception. We could easily have copied the key and walked in there at any time. There is zero security here. Every transient hotel is safer. Tourists should avoid this place. The emblems of the Ayenda Hotel were still everywhere, both in the entrance area and in the room. The room facing the courtyard stank of cigarettes, since smoking is allowed in the courtyard. There was no socket to charge the cell phone in the room. The shower was fine, bed sheets are still a joke, we didn't take the breakfast after a look in the kitchen. There were two tables, one with ashtray in the courtyard, the other was full of Christmas decoration, no one wants to sit at such a table. When we left the hotel to take the bus to visit relatives, the man babbled on again about the peculiarities of the taxi business in Peru. We just left him...
