Peruvian Wasi - Bed & Breakfast

The airport was remodeled in May 2026 and the entrance is now on the other side. They told us it would take 15 min to get to the airport but it took a. Hour because of traffic. I don't think that's normal traffic (and the night before we were in a 4 hour traffic jam near the airport to get to the hotel!!) Consider leaving a bit earlier just in case. You can no longer walk to the airport either due to the new entrance

Free breakfast on the rooftop terrace was very peaceful. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy so I suggest moving around by taxi only which you can reserve with the hostel. Our room had a private bathroom with shower, hot water and a good fan to stay cool. This hostel is good enough for a 1 night layover in Lima. If you need to stay more nights I suggest you look elsewhere. The hostel is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport because Lima now has a brand new airport at a different location. If you stay here I strongly recommend reserving a taxi with the hostel just as we did.

Walking distance to the airport. The front desk lady is very friendly., Although she does not speak English, with the help of translation app, communication is not a problem. We only stayed one night, and left very early in the morning with the breakfast bag she packed for us. The room is very clean and new.. Rooms are located in 3rd or 4th floor, and the stair is narrow and steep, not convenient for carrying luggage. Another strange and inconvenient thing is there is a threshold between bedroom and bathroom, easy to be tripped when need to go to bathroom at night.

Excellent service. Host was available to welcome us for our late check in (midnight) and early check out to catch a flight. She arranged a transport to the airport when we arrived. Very clean. Perfect for a 1 night stay in transit.

Less than 10mins from airport. Staffs help arranged taxi from and to airport. They packed a small breakfast for me. Very helpful No elevator. Share bathroom. Quite noisy since other guest come and leave while I was sleeping.

Professional and trustworthy host. Very communicative, prompt and helpful for logistics, taxi including storing some baggage for over a week while adventuring. Rooms, and facilities were in very good condition and clean facilities. Water was HOT and powerful. Bed and pillows very good. Room was very quiet for sleeping. Location - 15 minute walk to airport. sheltered Roof top was nice for a simple breakfast. I didnt mind as it was a very short overnight, but the room was very simple- 2 beds, pretty much nothing else. A few decorations or wall hangings would 'warm the vibe up a little'

No elevator so we have to carry the luggage to the 4th floor. The doorstep between the bathroom and bedroom tends to trip up you if you did not notice it.

Clean rooms and clean bathrooms, nice terrace- definitely interesting! The breakfast was a bit frugal- I could have used a second breakfast

Rather basic and outdated.

Location was close to the airport. There are local grocery stores within walking distance as long as you speak Spanish. If not, finding someone for assistance is difficult. Make sure you have a translation app on your phone to assist with directions if needed. The pricing listed online vs what was charged was not as advertised. We were charged an additional $15 USD or $45 for the local currency. The pictures of the venue vs what it looked like was not anything similar and the part of town (though this is my own fault for not doing the research) was not where I would have liked to stay. Finding meal accommodations, I would not advise for the area, as you have to either taxi or walk a fair distance to find something.

We arrived in the evening and had to leave at 1am so not much experience, but the beds were good and the shower was really nice. Rooms not super spacious but fine. The host was very nice and helpful.

Close to the airport I got there very late and had luggage so it made the stairs a little challenging. However, on departure, a gentleman that worked there kindly helped me.
