Golden Mar Hotel

Me gusto la atencion de la recepcion y sobre todo del seguridad muy amable y atento a ayudar creo que se llama Alvaro tremenda persona. me gusto la comida buena y variada. la ubicacion bie solo que mucho ruido vehicular desde temprana hora de la mañana y del dia no se puede descansar bien y el cuarto le falta aire acondicionado

Nothing. It ruined our entire start of the trip. Me and my friend had been traveling for 28 hours to get to Lima and the hotel and we had communicated with the hotel that we would pay extra (90 soles) to get our room at 6 am when we arrived but then when we arrived that told us , no you won’t get the room until 10 but you would still have to pay the same amount to get the room 4 hours later. And then we tried to deal with them but they were impossible and didn’t even try to understand our situation. We ended up waiting until 2 pm which was the original check in time (7.5 hours from when we got to the hotel). Then when we got our room is was tiny, and dark. The booking said we would have a “inner courtyard view” which was a 1x2 meter small hole with walls surrounding and a glass door with 1cm gaps all around so any insect in the city could get in. We didn’t have any WiFi that worked in our room and ended up getting mosquito bites when we were sleeping. Overall a horrible hotel with a bad breakfast ( dry eggs and lots of sugary things) (Photo of the “courtyard view”)

The Hotel is very well located and very clean. The breakfast was very good. The street noise could be heard in the room, but it was manageable.

Location and the Roof top It takes long for them to bring you something to your room when you ask for it (toilet paper for example) They close the kitchen at certain times during the afternoon , you have to go outside to eat

The blanket was too thin and we started to freeze durying the night until we asked for a thicker one

The pics they show are not the same , The room wasnt ready when they gave us the key hadas to change room cause it was a Mess.

The room was definitely not as advertised and the staff knew it and said there was nothing they could do. The room itself smelled and wasn’t as clean. When you open the window it was a wall with no view. Wifi only connected in one small corner of the room. When I asked them if they could do anything about it, they were rude and just said you can leave.

Good location, Good breakfast, Staffs have good attention and hospitality. I stayed on 5th floor was pretty noisy from the upstairs is restaurant from early morning to late night. Changed the room to 3th floor. There is the gym on 2th floor hearing the heavy sounds for exercise from early morning to 10 or 11 pm. And construction sounds from upstair heavily. I was always lack of sleep during stay.

The location of the property and the price, I found this place on my last day, wish I would have stayed there on my first day Nothing I didn’t like

Very run down property. Room very beat up. Strange smell. Room safe did not function. Very sad breakfast - bit of cheese and processed luncheon meat, sweet roll, pieces of stale waffles, no milk for coffee. Apparently they serve scrambled eggs only on weekends. For the price we paid this is unacceptable.

The breakfast was a joke and the bathroom was super small. There also wasn't any air conditioner, just a fan,

Spacious room Unfortunately our room was not inspected prior to our checkin at 12:30 am, situation was taken care of by 2 am

Not clean, stuff is not friendly. I found a nail on my bed!!!
