BED BUGS, do not stay here! A friend and I stayed here for a night and discovered that the bunk bed we were sleeping in was infested with bed bugs. While the hostel compensated her for cleaning costs, they did not do the same for me as I was unable to report the issue in person due to an early flight and “lack of evidence” that I had been affected despite having slept in the contaminated bed (which they removed the next day). Do not stay here, there are countless better options in Lima and it’s not worth the time and expense of having to deal with bed bugs while traveling.

The building itself is gorgeous and historical, a lot of light in the common rooms. Alejandra, in reception, was phenomenal and very helpful. BEST hostal showers ive encountered (excellent shower pressure and hot water) The patio hours are short. They close at 10:30pm so for smokers or late nighters, or if you want to continue conversing, its uncomfortable bc theres only indoor spaces to hang out, near all the rooms and if you would like to smoke, youll have to go out into the streets with no place to sit..

Beautiful property, nice breakfast, cute rooftop area. Not the cleanest bathroom facilities.

Great location near Lima’s city center and its museums. Staff were all nice and very helpful. I enjoyed their free activities like the walking tour and pisco sour class. Shower water was hot. Free breakfast was meager (a scrambled egg and cheap bread with butter and jam) but I was glad to have it. My first two nights were in a private room and it was comparatively quiet and very comfortable for fairly cheap. My third night I switched to a dorm and mine was one that faced the street and the car noise was pretty loud. There’s also no privacy curtains on the beds. My dorm bed was the only one in the room to not have its own personal light and shelf.

A bit run down

Great location if you want to be in the city center. Cool old building and great place to meet people. Staff is great. Cats are cute The bathroom situation is not great. There is no where to change by the showers and it’s pretty open. Also the shower flooded shortly after I began showering and I was standing in 6 inches of water. Breakfast was also not good at all. Bread and a very small plate of scrambled eggs.

This hostel is really great. So well localed, near the historical center of Lima, and completely handy to catch any public transport to take you to the other districts in town (Miraflores, San Isidro, Barranco, the Airport). Everybody fullfilling a function within the hostel (the reception desk girls, those at the breakfast terrace, or in charge of the maintenance of the premises, were really great people, very kind, warm and efficient, and they all helped you to design a wonderful stay. In case I return to Lima, I will surely try to repeat this exceptional experience...!!! Nothing at all...

Everything as usual There's nothing I don't like

The staff was incredible and very accommodating to all questions and requests. The location is great to visit close attractions by foot

Breakfast was decent, room was fine. Some traffic outside but I was still able to sleep fine. It's a beautiful building and they have tons of social activities which is really nice, and a good rooftop. Close to the airport which I appreciated Was charged a few soles more than expected at check in? Unsure if this was due to a currency exchange $ or what, but not a big deal at all and I didn't bother to say anything. Location is definitely not Miraflores or Barranco, but it is middle of the city it seems.

The biggest issue with this hostel is that it is by a busy street and you will hear lots of traffic noise at night. This is easily fixed by bringing earplugs! I also wish there was a little more privacy in the showers, as it is very easy to be seen while you're changing.
