It's a little bit too "boutique" (I would rather say too basic) - no wardrobe, no fridge, etc.

Decoration, AC, location, staff, breakfast, big room Nothing

Very kind people and great place, super clean a big wauwwww. I will be back !

my lock broke and I got locked out of my room late at night, could only get back in because another guest helped me. On top of being stuck outside of my room for hours, panicking that I might not be able to get in and get my passport before my early morning flight. I almost couldn't even check out properly in the morning because there was no one there, in fact I had to let one of the staff, the maid, into the building. If it weren't for the fact that the other guest that stayed there had had to deal with this from 2 previous guests, and had figured out how to eventually get the lock to at least open, I might have not been able to get any sleep and have missed my flight the next morning. This was particularly bad.

The staff was extremely kind, and the breakfast was good. Where do I begin… I requested a quiet room, and they gave us the only room connected to the lobby and facing the street, with knowledge of someone checking in at 11pm that night. We requested a quieter room and were brought to a room on the second floor that poured a wall of must as soon as we opened the door. The room was no quieter, maybe even louder with street noise. The fan did not work. We requested a third room, reminding them we had requested a quiet room. We were brought to a room back on the ground floor, facing the street, but without a window, so at least the street noise was not as bad. However, this room also reeked of must and mold. It was damp, and everything from the air to the towels (ew) were wet with stains. We requested new towels only for those to be wet too. We then requested a cancellation because of the state of the rooms, and the request was denied. When showering the water flooded the bottom of the shower floor. The walls and ceiling did not look clean and were obviously damaged by moisture. The bed cover was not well cleaned (hair on the cover). We had stayed at another hotel earlier in our trip in Mira Flores, but that hotel, for a similar price, had at least kept the air moving in the rooms to avoid Lima’s humidity from doing too much damage. This hotel might have been comfortable at one point (we saw Booking.com/TripAdvisor awards on the lobby wall from 2019), but it has not been taken care of since. The rooms are in desperate need of updates. Do not stay here.

The location is amazing but dont expect any ammenities (such as ice). The staff was helpful and accomodating with a bagged breakfast thedaybwe left super early. There is a moldy smell in the room and its humid (but its a Lima thing not a hotel thing) Walking distance to the mirador for amazing sunsets and to Kennedy park for restaurants and cafes.

The aesthetics of The Lot were absolutely stunning! The staff was warm and inviting. Lighting over bathroom mirror was a bit difficult.

Airport transfer came too late and the car smelled badly. The room was very humid and didn’t feel healthy to sleep in.
-
There are no toiletries in the bathroom except for a hand soap.

It has everything I need in a hotel, and for that price it’s a great deal. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent (very customizable: they let us choose the menu a day in advance, and even served it an hour earlier to accommodate our early flight!). Great neighborhood also! There was a bit of a damp smell, which is probably because it’s an older refurbished building. The place is well kept, but you can tell there are some moisture issues in the walls. Honestly, it didn’t bother me at all, though I can see how it might be annoying for some people.

The location, the design of the room. The kindness of personnel. The towels were clean but wet. The water from the shower was flooding the wc.

The hotel has a nice historic feel and is in a very quiet neighborhood. Our room was large and they clean every day, very basic amenities (hand soap and shampoo). The AC worked ok and the tv had streaming which was nice. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was good for vegetarians. The breakfast staff were nice but no English. You're a five minute walk from the parks along the coast which is lovely and a 15 min walk from Kennedy park which has many bars and restaurants. It was quiet when we stayed but our room was right by the front desk so some early knocking at the front door Really the biggest issue was the staff was never there. The women who was there was kind but it would be difficult if you urgently needed to check in or out or had questions

Great location and friendly staff. We had a lovely stay.

The property was clean and neat. The room was clean and spacious. There was a good variety of options for breakfast. My room was on the ground floor, next to the front door and front desk.

Small but very nice. I like how personal touch they provide. Nothing major, but the room ceiling needs painting

The staff were nice and the location was good. The room felt run down with many things broken or warn.

Excelente place in Miraflores neighborhood! It’s a very cozy and nice environment, very friendly staff and the host from the desk can speak english in case your spanish isn’t not that good! The room that we got it’s was huge, nice bed, pillows and AC. Shower was nice too, fine eater pression. You have to choose your breakfast and time in advance. I was a bit hm when I heard the first time but the food is so well prepared that I forgot all about it! The ladies who served are just so sweet. And the terrace is really cute, you can hear and see the birds having a morning while enjoying the breakfast. Very good lounge place to wait for the time to head to the airport as well. Really glad for had pickup this place. I didn’t like was the quality of the towels. They are all very very rough. Bit odd considering everything else but I hope they change that soon for nice and softer ones. A bit of “ocean smell/humid” in the room but you can sense in the whole neighborhood. Maybe a humidifier could be a good one in the room The room has a cozy light dynamic but a bit dark to get dress or get a make up on it. Maybe a set of white lights would be also helpful. Other than that, you’re fine to go and enjoy your time here

Friendly staff, free water to refill the bottles, solid breakfast, spacious & comfy beds A bit noisy, you hear everything from the streets and the other rooms. The Shower was a bit weak. The WiFi was impossible to use in our room (7) but okay in the other public rooms.
