This has a great location and close to a lot of restaurants bars and activities. The pictures are very misleading. It makes the place look way more updated than it really is. Part of the room wasn’t even fully closed in.

I stayed here for a week and except for the location this is pretty much the worst value for money stay I ever had. There is a construction site in front so it’s not possible to rest during the day unless it’s the weekend. First of all the apartment I was given had zero privacy. The walls are paper thin. When people would pass it felt like they are inside of the apartment plus I heard everything and I mean everything… couples, children you name it. The room itself felt like random objects were put together for the design so it feels like a very cold and not welcoming warehouse or like they are still renovating it. I had a big lamp on my table that they didn’t put up, the small lamps in the ceilings didn’t work, the walls were unfinished in some places or peeled off I don’t know. The bathroom had a constant mild and very unpleasant smell. There is no kitchen and not even a rack to hang your clothes on. They charge 10 dollars everyday for cleaning but until I didn’t message the property the day after I arrived in the afternoon no one came to clean… so it felt like they weren’t very initiative… sometimes the cleaned the tea cups and sometimes they didn’t…. So all these small things together just made this stay pretty terrible actually and not worth the price they charge at all…

Things I liked... location, close to the sea, lighthouse, Chinese park, beach access (steep walk down). Lovely neighborhood with restauarants and coffee shops. Easy to walk to areas of Miraflores. The one suggestion I have for prospective customers is to ask for the apartment seen in specific photographs as here are several in the building that differ in size, shape, aesthetics etc. Originally we were given an apartment that was more like a big hotel room with a baby's crib. We asked if we could change to one with a kitchen. Hosts were very gracious and give us a choice of all avaialble, so we eventually got the one we thought we'd agreed to. Rosa helped us and was charming, and provided a reasonably priced laundry service. That the photographs on the webpage don't specifically indicate what each apartment is actually like. It's important to state which one is preferred.

It's a nice large apartment with 2 beds, much more than I needed since I was solo. It has a refrigerator and kettle. No bottle water is furnished by the host. The location is nice, close to the promenade. Wifi was good most of the time but had a few issues. It felt secure and safe and I had no issues. It did get a bit cold at night but fortunately there were extra heavy blankets. There is no hot water in the bathroom sink. There is no dresser for putting your clothes away and no place to hang clothes either. After making the booking which I reserved with American Express card I was told at check-in that they wanted to be paid in cash, fortunately I had that available.

The mattresses were hard, noise from the hallways was loud in the mornings, and smokers outside made the balcony unusable.

Good location Despite the condition of the place they have kept it fairly clean This is not a hotel- it’s someone’s home converted into self contained flats and it is managed like this. The photos advertising the place are either really old or heavily staged. We didn’t complain as we were only in lima for 1.5 days and were only there to sleep. The projector was missing in our room and during our stay the owner insisted on letting an engineer into the room to put a TV in- we had to leave our room with all our belongings unlocked because we had other reservations- we felt uncomfortable, this could have waited as we were only staying for one more night and leaving early morning. When we came back furniture had been moved around and so had our belongings some of them were very dusty. The place is in desperate need of maintenance, even the bedding has tears and burn marks on the pillows- this should be pretty easy to replace. The blinds are broken, so either you have to have them completely open or completely closed. And there are very thin net curtains so no privacy if you want to have natural light. The only light sockets for a big quadruple room are in one corner. There was crockery provided which was dusty and a half filled kettle- no information about a kitchen to wash up. It was all a bit bizarre. Not sure what they are trying to achieve.

Casa Azul was perfect! Clean, comfy and had everything we needed. We only stayed one night, but we could easily have stayed longer. I like quiet and this place is quiet! It was about 10-15 minutes on foot to the ocean view and to Inka Plaza shopping. Nothing

Staying here was one of the best decisions we made on our trip! It was the perfect end to our trekking adventures in the mountains. We could walk around and relax and watch the beach-goers. The host was as helpful as can be.

Great location, cool design, comfortable and friendly host. The only issue i had, was that the place was full of mosquitoes. It is most likely a problem for the whole area, so I do not understand why nobody has fly screens on the windows here.

Late check in was handled perfectly.

Beautifully decorated and very practical Very loud with the neighbours upstairs, could hear every conversation above the kitchen

Good location, close to beach. A little further away from cafes and restaurants ie 10-15min walk. the place was a bit run down. there was a damp and muggy smell in the flat, worse in the bathroom.

Loved the size and Location of the property, it was so close to the beach and easy to find our way around. What l didnt like was paying for a clean everyday and not having it cleaned.

Great location, in a nice neighbourhood. A nice space, with ample space and good facilities.

It was a modern design. The bed was comfortable. Rosa was very nice and recommended Buenavista Café for breakfast. We were able to walk everywhere. The room had a musky smell. Not sure if it was from the fake grass but it wasn’t pleasant. Sort of smelt like pee. The shower also leaked abit onto the floor of the bathroom.

Great location. And lovely staff. Didn't realise it was open plan. The photos didn't hide it, but whenever it says 2 Bedrooms I presume 2 distinct Bedrooms. Very cold during our stay.
