Its quiet location, easy parking facilities and comfort of the room. A very small point but room on first floor, no help with luggage.

The location of this hotel is great - very near castle and cathedral and good restaurants. The breakfast is continental and normally we would book a hotel with more choices for breakfast but we enjoyed the breakfast and it was of good quality. Parking was not a problem although it is a public car park we could always find a space near where our room was situated if we had been out for the day. Had to ring a bell at bar as staff were not always there but this was not a problem as there are several pubs nearby.

Great location. Lovely building The breakfast was continental which is fine. But the meat on offer was salami and the like which is a bit spicy for breakfast.

Location right next to castle, nice continental breakfast Only issue was finding the hotel as it’s not signposted on union road and is within The Lawn complex

The location The old mattress, the lack of staff, no carpark so had to pay near £35 for two nights. The mould in the bathroom the black mould on the bath Matt the unclean floor no curtains the dust

Lovely airy room to have breakfast in. Old building mixed with modern extension. Selection was limited for me until we were leaving when a fresh batch of pastries turned up, a bit late for us.

Great and peaceful location and beautifully decorated rooms. Friendly staff. Unable to open windows fully and no fan on hottest day of the year so a difficult sleep.

Excellent location for Castle, Cathedral and shops. It had a make over in 2024 and you can see that the money was spent in the common areas. Very nice art deco. However. The bedroom we occupied looked sad and outdated. Stained carpet. Mould around shower and sink. No USB ports.

First time staying here but will definitely stay again. Fantastic location. Great bar. Great breakfast. Really comfortable bed. Great power shower. The decor is so beautiful the photos really don’t do it justice. Also had a drink from the bar on the beautiful terrace and can heartily recommend the cocktails on tap!!! Nothing. Only having to leave to go home!!
