Musty smelling room

The location is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful scenery, able to walk to Pemigewasset River just behind the cottage i stayed in. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and kept the grounds and cottage very clean. Air conditioners worked great and hot water was plentiful. I will be returning for both winter and summertime trips going forward. I have found my base of operations for my White Mountain getaways. Thank you Hamish and family

This motel is dated and in need of much uptake. It looks better in the pictures than it actually is. However, it is a nice place to stay.

Loc, friendly, quiet, river behind cottage, peaceful Not much options for tv (roku tv). Had to have an acct with most.

Not the most pleasant smelling place, some may think so but we didn't care for it. And needs upgrades desperately.

This old hotel and cottages has been around for a long time. It appears that this is fairly new owners and they do have a lot of work ahead of them, but they done a great job keeping the rooms nice and . So keep in mind if you're considering that these are old cottages and they have the old character which I love. In addition, it's right along the Pemi River and you can open the window in the the bathroom and listen to the water running down the river. Outback, there is a couple lawn chairs and you have steps to go down to the river and there's a couple picnic tables a hibachi grill to cook on and even a fire pit. The rooms like I said are older, but they are nice. There's two rooms both with I believe a queen bed, one of the rooms you can shut both doors for privacy. One of the doors goes into the bathroom and the other one goes into the main room. They do have a nice refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker along with a TV with excellent choices of viewing. They're also to air conditioner is one in each room.

Microwave didn't get hot - tried popping a bag of popcorn and it did nothing. Other than that, the stay was great.

Older motel in need of a face-lift. But a good price and a good night’s sleep before our day-hike next day. Clean. Convenient for North Woodstock.
