Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago-Lincolnshire

Room was comfortable size; bed very comfortable. Loved black-out curtains. Grounds very pleasant. The breakfast was horrible. Not real eggs, oatmeal was running, sausage cold. 2nd morning, we went elsewhere - so not a great value for us.

Rooms very clean and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable beds too!

Pros: location off the interstate and on a major east-west road, quiet and clean rooms, pet friendly, lovely staff, warm pool, and (for my family) easy sidewalks and neighborhoods to use for walks. It was rainy while we were there but there is a wonderful outdoor space with at least one grill, tables, and general seating. Cons: Breakfast was our only disappointment - and the timing of our breakfast and the stay may have been a double whammy. I believe we were there on a graduation weekend for Sailors at NAVSTA Great Lakes. The hotel was very busy on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. On both mornings about a third of the labeled food spots were completely unavailable and many others needed refilled. There were labels and empty spaces for a variety of items beyond the standard waffles and eggs (including a few vegan and gluten friendly options!) so a fully stocked breakfast area would turn this into a major win! As an FYI: there seems to be one entrance to the hotel, and it is shaped as a V. If you are booked at the extent of the hotel getting your bags in and out may not be quick. Regardless of these factors we would absolutely stay again. Neither are true complaints, just data to use when planning your stay!

Exceptional

Starting off the lobby vibe is so nice!! The front desk Natalie was very welcoming and kind! We stayed in a 1 Bedroom king bed suite my 3 children and I and felt like home! Six flags is only 17 min away which was good for our planned trip for that occasion, the pool is warm and has an amazing high ceiling and lots of windows, breakfast was really good and fresh, the attendant was on it checking on everything and refilling things. We ordered dominos on uber eats and it was fast and so hot and fresh very good option if you dont wanna leave the hotel, I loved our stay and plan to return here for our little six flags getaways, Thank You Homewood by Hilton Team!!!!!

The breakfast was very good, well-stocked, and had very flexible hours; the rooms were comfortable and clean.

The staff was very helpful, especially Jamie Perdome. The rooms are large, comfortable and accommodating. The pool and patio area are also great. There was not adequate parking.

This place was so amazing and family friendly. We stayed here for my son's Navy Graduation and planning on going back again. Great experience!

We had a nice suite with a nice King bed and a roll-out bed, which had a poor mattress. The free hot breakfast was okay, not great. The eggs were not hot. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
