Tucked away in a quiet back street but only a few minutes to each of the ports. My room was simple but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast on the top floor/outdoor terrace was lovely

This is a good place for a stay in Lipari and as a base for excursions to the other Aeolian Islands. It is right in down town Lipari and only a 5-minute walk away from the ferry terminal. The rooms are somewhat sparsely furnished but the bathroom was clean and served its purpose. Worth mentioning was the breakfast which really was good (but you might want to bring your own cheese as this is generally off-menu with Italian breakfast) and was served in the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel with a nice view over the city. There was some noise but this was to be expected from an accommodation located down town and in a building that was constructed to standards different from those in use in countries like Germany or Switzerland.
