Beautiful rooms, wonderful accommodation and breakfast Nothing

Great place close to the city center. Nice structure. The room was very classy. Friendly staff. The restaurant room was well set, with great breakfast served and has an amazing view.

The helpfulness of the reception personnel was amazing, turning concerns into solutions. They even arranged harbor-to-hotel transport which gave me peace of mind, being unfamiliar with their city. And the pool? Ahhhhh! So relaxing with snack and beverage service available. Walking in the heat uphill to this location was mildly offputting. Also, while understandable, the "tone" of room and premises signage seemed to introduce somewhat of a policing experience to the property. In-room charging of phones and battery packs while outside was thwarted by all room electricity being shut off by key card removal when leaving the room, but the front desk did offer to accommodate.
-
High tech amenities. Accommodating and caring staff. Wonderful pool with velvety soft water -- and great poolside beverage service. When you leave, all electricity to room stops. If you need to charge any device while away, forget about it unless you enlist the help of the front desk to charge your power bank while out. Some signage is mildly offensive but understandable, i.e.towels developing legs and walking off premises, outside food put in refrigerator, et cetera. While I understand the reasons behind these policies, the negative tone simply does not land well.

I missed not having a happy hour, which would have been nice with the large number of guests around the pool area.

The bed was very uncomfortable Better beds and softer sheets

Breakfast was great; staff were lovely & very accommodating!

Beautiful property with a great location. Easily accessible to the center of town. Very large 2 bedroom suite. Very nice staff. Great pool. I wish I knew the room didn’t have a stand up shower only a large tub with a spray handle. Not sure if it’s like that in all the rooms.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities, including a beautiful outdoor pool in a lovely setting. The hotel is situated just a few blocks from the historic center in a great location. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast buffet is wonderful... so many delicious choices. The staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We are especially grateful to Francesca and Valentina among the other outstanding staff at the reception. We stayed there four nights and wish we could have stayed much longer! Loved this place!

I loved my stay at this hotel in Lipari! Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade pastries – fresh, tasty, and a real treat to start the day. The staff were super kind and professional, always ready to help with a smile. A perfect place to enjoy the island! The location offers a beautiful view, but reaching the hotel involves a short uphill climb. With heavy luggage it can be a bit inconvenient, so taking a taxi is highly recommended.

Staff very kind

The room was cozy, the staff was all very nice and the location was great. I liked the little balcony and having a fridge in the room was convenient. The shower was often tepid which is fine in July but still not ideal. However, I decided to get a massage in the spa area and it was, by far, the worse massage I have ever had. I don’t know what this person thought she was doing but tapping me on my head (a lot!) and wiggling my arms is not a sports massage. I went from bafflement, to almost laughing out loud, to being actually pissed off that I was paying 70 euros for someone to vaguely poke at me for an hour. The worst part was during th massage she did actually semi massage my neck for about forty five seconds and then afterwards she’s like you know you have a tense neck, you could book a second treatment for that and I was like well maybe if you had actually massaged me this time that I have already paid for… my neck wouldn’t be so tense.

I loved the place. They had excellent breakfast, beautiful rooms. It was close to the center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All was good.

Nothing I had a disappointing experience at Hotel Tritone in Lipari, mainly due to the unhelpful and indifferent attitude of the staff. Upon arrival, my room’s air conditioning was off, so I requested that they turn it on. They assured me they would, but later I found it only cooled to 20°C, which did little to make the room comfortable. When I followed up, they claimed the A/C system doesn’t really function and only recirculates outside air due to restrictions across the island. I tried to sleep in the warm room but ended up waking up drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. The next day, I asked if they could provide a fan or fix the issue, and they once again promised to resolve it—but nothing was done. It felt like they were giving me the runaround with empty assurances, which was incredibly frustrating. On top of that, breakfast was subpar, with food that tasted stale and lacked variety. I hoped for a pleasant stay, but unfortunately, the staff’s lack of care turned it into a disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Room was wonderful. Great location Rooms were warm

Staff at the front desk Rachel and Aurora were very helpful with other people on the staff.

Amazing property. The room was lovely, as was the pool, which came in handy in the middle of summer, but it was the staff that left an impression on us. They could not have been any better. Always quick to help and they were fantastic with our 3 year old daughter, including always remembering her name, which made her feel very special. We will only stay at Hotel Tritone from now on when travelling to Lipari

the hotel is spacious, the pool area is great and very clean, the room was generously big and had a nice balcony with pool and sea-view. the staff at the reception was very welcoming as was the barkeeper. The restaurant, more specifically the breakfast; there seems to be a disconnect in service quality between the hotel management / reception and the restaurant. Each morning we found a table without cutlery, other times there were no glasses, cups or plates a available and the breakfast featured nothing local/typical but rather industrial oven baguettes and toast, packaged marmalade and honey, mini croissants as well as ham and cheese from the supermarket. Despite being aware this is an island and sourcing is a challenge, I believe there would be potential to for example leverage local bakeries and providers of ham/cheese and offer marmalade and honey from Italy instead. Moreover, the breakfast staff was not proactive at all, neither did they put the cutlery on the table when we sat down, nor did they ask if we wanted coffee/tee. Instead we had to seek their attention and catch them to order something. For a 4* superior a disappointing experience. Unfortunately this is in stark contrast with the rest of the very positive experience we had with the hotel.
