Hotel Avenida Park

Location is good near the park and central Lisbon/metro lines. It was a budget-friendly option. I knew I was booking a budget hotel, but this one felt pretty sad and run down. My room was fine, but I did hear other guests asking to be moved because of mold near the bed in their room. There were some construction messes around and just not much to enjoy about the property. I would stay elsewhere next time, even if it costs a bit more.

Great location in that section of Lisbon away from the main tourist area but across from Eduardo Park. Easy access to Lisbon metro too. Well detailed room with a balcony as well. Clean and up to date fixtures. Nice buffet breakfast and a kind staff. No complaints.

The staff was very welcoming and the hotel (look, location, value for money, breakfast, accessibility) was beyond my expectations.

I would definitely go back to this hotel. I felt really good, comfortable. The room is amazing, space is perfect! The bed is great, soft, the sheets are perfect. I didn't want to leave the bed for anything. :) Bathroom size is fine, they provide lots of toiletries, you feel well taken care of. The best thing is this little plate with some of their best pastries (including a very good Pastel de Nata and a delicious rice cake) they present you. Staff is really polite, has some good tips. And the neighborhood is very good, with some very nice places to eat and drink (don't forget to try the Pinch Seafood Bistro & Bar).

Location, functionality, quietness

Excellent location, Kind staff, good breakfast, easy access to everything I needed. My travel companion arrived several days after I did. Bag storage during early arrival and late departure... Quiet street, but adjacent to the park, and just a few steps to restaurants and activities.

Room was fine. Lovely staff. Simple breakfast, but efficient. No place to hang towels, so we had to use chair and door.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay — overall we appreciated many aspects of our time there and hope to return. On the other hand, we felt that the room lacked sufficient in-room amenities. The bathroom could use more supplies. On the first night, the water temperature was nearly cold — that was disappointing. We asked the reception for missing towels because they were not available in the room. We hope the hotel will consider improving the in-room amenities and ensure better preparation of bathrooms for future guests.

The hotel was conveniently located for us to join our tour. Also there were quite a few restaurants in walking distance. The room was large, but minimally appointed. The breakfast was excellent. On the first day, the staff brought a lovely pastry and fruit platter to our room in midday. The hotel was fine except they could have provided a little more amenities. There was no toilet tissue holder!??! In fact,there were no boxed tissues. The floors were mostly uncarpeted. There was only a generic soap dispenser which presumably was intended for body and hair wash. And, disappointedly, the lobby provided streaming channels, but not in the room. These are relatively small things and overall our stay was excellent.

There was a confusion of our room. On the first night someone and a staff came knocking on our door twice during midnight. It was annoying as we were woken up twice. They claimed the same room booking belonged to another person. Obviously, we had the correct keycard and the room number. The following night it was ok with no more interruptions.

We enjoyed the location being in front of a park and close to the subway station for easy travel in and around the city! The staff was also friendly and attentive. The rooms were nice and always cleaned. The breakfast was somewhat boring with it´s 2 choices of bread and fruits with lots of fruit flies which had seen better days. We had hoped for a better scrambled egg and bacon which was dry and lukewarm. The Pastel del Nata's were quite nice though. Unfortunately, the rooms were incredibly noise-sensitive. We could hear pretty much everything from the elevator doors opening, people just walking by the door or when someone whispered something on the other end of the corridor.

Very clean room, nice staff, clean facilities and clean common area. Great location. Easy check in.

The location was perfect. Close to metro, bus, restaurants, and convenience stores. The beds were comfortable, and the room was spacious and pristinely clean. The only thing that I would suggest is perhaps reminding the reception desk staff to be warmer and more welcoming. However, there was one very helpful gentleman (I didn't get his name) who gave us suggestions for the beach and directions.
