My kids looked forward to our stay even before we arrived once I showed them the play area. If you have kids this is the perfect hotel, you can drop off your kids to explore th hilly city while they play. The amenities were also great along with attentive staff On a steep hill with lots of bars all around

Loved everything about this beautiful accommodation. We had a suite with a fully equipped kitchen. The king bed was comfy with high end bedding. Everything was clean and bright! Shower was awesome! Location perfect. We highly recommend The Martinhal . There was nothing we didn't like

Staff were amazing! went out of there way to make sure you were comfortable during your stay
-
The 5th floor room had roof angles where I hit my head twice. Thought staff in the breakfast area should have been friendlier.
-
Traveling with grand baby - loved the day care center
-
Loved our time here! Upgraded to an amazing huge room (that spoiled us for the rest of the trip), super friendly service, great breakfast, perfect location and everything I needed for my 1 year old daughter Nothing

The people. Especially David Aresta who went beyond expectations to make our stay excellent

All of it! Perfect for family especially with toddlers.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and also had thoughtful touches for kids such as a kids bath robe, step in the bathroom, and kids cutlery, bowls and plates. My daughter really loved the kids club and it was great to have the option of childcare. The hotel also has a WhatsApp number you can message to ask questions, check on your child in the Kids Club, etc. Not much - I thought the breakfast options could have been better. The hot options were limited although you could also get eggs to order. You also have to book a time for breakfast, which isn't ideal with young kids.

Friendly clean and fun

This hotel consists of beautifully designed and equipped suites with huge rooms, fully equipped kitchen, special features for small children, comfortable bed with memory foam pillow. Everywhere there were lovely design touches. Great breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. It is also in a good position in Chiado. Nothing whatsoever could be improved!

Can’t fault my stay! Excellent Nothing

Staff were great, Breakfast was average, Secure underground Car parking nearby. A short downhill walk to restaurants. A huge mall nearby. At the time we were walking about 20,000 steps per day so Lisbon was no exception. We did get a torrential rain day one of the 3 days we were there but still managed to get out and about. It is more of a family hotel, a few kids there. A bit of a mission going to the room, Down some steps, into the lift, out through a laundry area, into another lift and arrive at the room. I guess the downside of it being built on a hill like many other places in Lisbon.

Lovely stay. Fabulous location, very walkable to lots of the central city. We were upgraded to a one bed apartment and it was gorgeous, very spacious, very comfortable, had a separate kid bunk room and was very well equipped with everything we could need. Also had a small balcony with typical street views. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of different options. There is a kids club and easy access to babysitting but we didn't utilise this. Our bathroom was a bit cramped and awkward to manoeuvre in but this was a very minor point... nothing else! Would highly recommend.
-
Nice kitchen and cockery. Good shower good mattress helpful staff who were on night shift -TV screen too small for the spacious lounge -Both shower rooms were blocked or leaking - Would be nice if the facial mirror had a built in light - the bedside wall power points were too far from the King bed
-
Great location, large two bedroom. This is not a 5 star hotel, maybe it was some time ago but it is now decadent and dated, much worse than the first time we stayed there. It was smelly, mouldy, and dirty, the bathrooms are old, water leaks, and other maintenance problems like that.
-
Amazing location, the staff is super helpful and the room was excellent. Loved to see all the things they have to make traveling with kids pleasant, although mine didn’t come this time.

All good.
