Room not properly cleaned, found condom wrap and bunch of dust under bed when I dropped a mobile to floor - seems under bud it was never cleaned. Also bathroom with dirty switch's ECT. Noisy at night - you can hear road through window...

Friendly staff. Location was convenient. Breakfast had good options for everyone. Cleanliness was good. No disturbance. I was able to work peacefully. I was happy with my stay at SMY Lisboa and would come again.

I had an issue with my first room assignment and the staff addressed our needs immediately and provided an upgraded room. Parking is an issue around this hotel. However, the car par wasn't too far to walk. I also would have preferred to have breakfast included instead of a separate charge.

Location The room was incredibly hot and made it uncomfortable to sleep - even after we tried to adjust the temp. The staff told us we couldn’t do anything and we should just open the windows, but at the risk of getting woken up due to the noise. Also, the hallway smelled like a mix of bug spray and intense air freshener.

Place wasn't the cleanest. Bed headboard was peeling badly. Lounge area chairs were dirty.

The hotel is well located, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very polite.

Hotel lacking any spark or soul. Roof top bar not really very good - rather grey and like a clinic. Gym or Fitness room a disgrace. Machines broken!! Clearly no maintenance. Felt like a morgue. Only saw one other person there who was not using equipment but doing aerobics class on her phone. Not a great location in my opinion - felt on an industrial estate and just too far to nearest metro. Had to use Uber more than I wanted. Incredibly disappointing for the price and a good example of what is happening in Lisbon with accommodation prices in the widest sense. The entrance hall had the feeling of a youth hostel - full of bags and cases and big groups - with the bar doing little service - again just grey. Most people reading this review will not know that Lisbon has become the most unaffordable city in Europe. (I do speak Portuguese): this hotel is a perfect result of what happens; higher prices and poor service. On my first night I went to the roof top bar to hear an Englishman complain about the poor service and his cold pizza that he was refusing to pay for. It rathe set the tone. I have had good stays in Lisbon in the past. Will never return here. This is meant to be a review and not the anodyne stuff often served up. Harryzinho Fitness room and more

The hotel is clean & staff were very accomodating. Has a nice small rooftop bar & one near the entrance on the ground floor. Very comfortable bed but uncomfortable pillows, it's too soft. The coffee compliment wasn't replenish once we finished what was in the tea & coffee caddy. For a 4 star hotel, there's no complimentary slippers & it needs more bathroom amenities even just toothbrushes & toothpaste. It's only handwash & shower gel in the bathroom.

Nice hotel, lovely rooftop bar. The receptionist was very kind and helpful and I could check in few hours early. Stayed on the 7th floor, it was peaceful and quiet. Smell of drains in the room. You could tell they tried to mask it with air fresheners but it was still there... Didn't complain about it as I stayed just for one night and didn't want to bother anyone.

We liked the location. It’s close to our family who live two blocks away. The hotel didn’t have what is expected from a hotel at this price level. They don’t offer iron and ironing board. Their website says they offer shuttle service; they don’t. They’ll call for a taxi and you pay for it. There is no wall outlet in the bathroom for the hairdryer they provide. Finally, you need to keep a key into a key reader to keep the AC running if you don’t want to come back to the room after a hot day of site seeing.
