Clean and fine enough. Small.

The safe in the room Air conditioning didn’t work first night. I couldn’t sleep. The phone of the room doesn’t have instructions on how to talk to reception. I sent email to management. Nothing has been solved

Some of the staff members were nice and helpful during checkout since I wanted to keep my luggage there for a few hours. Definitely a disappointing experience, i only stayed one night so I didn't research the area much, but it's so bad, dozens of people are always at the doorstep and adjacent sidewalk, they are so noisy and scream way into the night (5-6 am) Especially since I was staying in the ground floor room. The room, which I might add, was so tiny you could barely move, the bathroom was only a glass partition, any usage of water inside causes leakage into the room, i had to use most of the provided towels to dry the floor. The sink is actually outside the bathroom (in the room itself) , it's incredibly small with a huge faucet, water would shoot right outside of it, causing more flooding in the room. The room had a weird stench which may have been to improper cleaning. Oh and the reception is across the street in a different building

No breakfast in the building. We prefer not to go to the breakfast restaurant because we have to cross two Avenues to go there. 1~You have to ask for permission to some people that were sitting in the entrance of the building every time to get in and out of it. 2~We have only 4 hangers for our clothes and there was no place to hang the towels after you shower. 3~When you shower, the water gets out from it, so the floor is soaked and when you step on it the water gets out from the floor. 4~It was very uncomfortable that there was no front desk in the building so you have to go to the other building if you need something.

The shower was hot and the AC worked. Location is right in front of a long immigration office line with people sitting on the entrance steps. Check-in office was across the street at another hotel. Elevator was not working and we were on 4th floor with heavy luggage. Room is extremely small. Toilet was leaking. Sink faucet was loose. Bedsheets were stained.

Value for money, clean and reasonable size Immigration office next door and too many people standing around outside

Very disappointing experience – not reflective of rating Our stay at Lisbon City Inn Hotel (March 21st–25th) was unfortunately far below expectations, especially considering its high rating on Booking.com. From the first day, cleanliness was a serious issue. The room had not been properly cleaned, and under the bed we found dirt along with three empty plastic bottles—clear evidence of poor housekeeping standards. Noise and staff behavior were also problematic. At 9:30 a.m., cleaning staff used a vacuum cleaner directly outside our room, causing significant disturbance. When we raised this with reception, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. Staff spoke among themselves in Portuguese instead of addressing us in English, appeared to blame each other while laughing, and implied that our expectation for quiet was unreasonable. We were explicitly told that most of their guests wake up earlier and that it is not usual to sleep beyond that hour—essentially placing the responsibility on us. Even more concerning, the same disturbance happened again the next day at an even earlier time, showing complete disregard for our complaint. In addition, the phone number provided for reception was incorrect, making it impossible to contact them unless we went in person. Despite this, the staff insisted that we had called the wrong number, even though it had been given to us in writing. Finally, at the end of our stay, we requested the official complaint book in order to formally submit our concerns. However, the staff appeared unfamiliar with the process and did not know how to handle it, which further reflects the lack of professionalism. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and unwillingness to take responsibility do not justify the hotel’s current rating. This experience was disappointing and does not meet basic hospitality standards.
