Draft Hostel & Rooms

Location was convenient but was a little suspicious as it was in the middle of every touristy restaurant. Also the front door was open sometimes which anyone can just walk in, there is no security in the ground floor. The bathroom in the hostile really ruined the experience. It was the worst. It constantly smelled like sewage and no matter if the cleaning people cleaned, the stench from the toilet area were still present. That alone made me not want to eat ANYTHING from the free breakfast bar.

Clean, clean, clean! Nice breakfast. Staff for check in wonderful, staff for breakfast some great. Staff entering room turning on lights while guests trying to sleep. Staff making beds at 11 pm when guests trying to sleep. Noise after 11 pm staff doing nothing about it.

​The temperature was super hot during my stay, making it quite uncomfortable, though I understand this was due to the weather and nature rather than the hotel itself. There was also a little bit of noise coming from outside the room. As a vegetarian, my main issue was at breakfast: the cheese and meat slices were placed in the exact same container, and the same serving tongs were used for both. I really did not like this cross-contamination and hope the hotel can separate them in the future.

It was the perfect match for what I needed.

Great location! Comfortable accommodations. Very clean. The facility has shared bathrooms and I was pleasantly surprised that someone was there cleaning the bathroom at 6:30 in the morning before everyone got up! And, the entire place is cleaned at checkout as well!

The location was great, in the heart of the center. Very close to metro station. It was clean. The stuff vas very helpful. First of all the windows were old and had no sound proof, it was all noisy whole night and the day and I wake up many times. Bathroom was just in the middle of main area next to the kitchen and it doesn’t feel private at all. Showers at least could have a door but they all had just curtains.

The only thing I didn’t like is that toilets are very small and the shower is fixed in the wall

The host was extremely helpful, and continuously working towards keeping the place in excellent shape. The location is perfect. The accommodation was clean.

No 24 hour check in. For a modern Western country, this should be a basic requirement.

Maybe set up a 'lost & found' area to keep guest items for a day or two and not to immediately toss or put them out as free items for grabs

The bed was comfortable and I liked the curtain for privacy It was a bit loud outside

Such a cozy hostel with good location. And friendly people and staff. Good ambiance. ?

The place and the staff Nothing

Location is amazing, 2 min walk from Praca de Comerce, 10 min walk to Cais do Sodre. Many restaurants and stores. Nice that hostel has breakfast, but the choice is not huge. I had a private room and I was practically the only person using the bathroom on the floor, so no queues or something for shower. Staff was friendly. There is a renovation on the street, so it was very loud beggining from like 8 am everyday. Private room is next to the kitchen so it was very loud from the moment breakfasst was starting (solvable with ear plugs).

It was great. No notes.

Not reliable wifi, bad toilets&showers

- it’s not uphill and can be easily accessed from Rossio green line metro - kitchen at 4th floor seems good but I didn’t get the chance to use it - personal locker and its space - cute wall art at the 3rd floor - good common space at the third floor - towel fee for 5 Euros - the shower takes so much time to warm up and it’s difficult to manage the water strength. Everything outside will get wet.

The shower could have been a little cleaner, but overall it was not bad.
