No daily house keeping for our room. Parking was horrible. And some random person knocked on our door at 2 in the morning and just walked in. Luckily we woke up and stopped them before they walked in. But they didn’t even announce themselves

The first floor of the hotel is a little like a maze. It has partition and columns making it a little hard to navigate with a lot of luggage, but it also helps to deaden the noise, so the trade offs are valid.

It’s people like Tary who turn a regular hotel stay into a memorable experience. She truly went above and beyond, and I hope Hyatt knows how lucky they are to have her on their team. Thank you, Tary, for your kindness, your smile, and for making my time in Michigan so special. I would absolutely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We booked a room with a king bed and were given a room with two doubles. The person checking us in said nothing about this, and it was late, so we did not go back down to inquire; however, this definitely had a negative impact on our two-night stay. Additionally, we were out until 4pm on Saturday, and upon return, our beds had not been made and we had not been given new towels. While we usually really enjoy Hyatt Place hotels, this did not seem to be well maintained and up to the standards we have come to expect (rusted desk lamp, thin/threadbare linens on the bed, low plates and options at breakfast)

Stayed here many times 10 years ago when I was still working. Disappointed the condition has deteriorated. Torn carpets, hallways had litter. Front desk lady, Terri,was very polite and helpful.

The general feeling was not a hospitality venue but a place where people just come to sleep and go. The cleaner just changed towels and straightened the top of the bed, leaving the bottom part as ruffled as it was slep on. The sink didnt drain water as one brushed teeth which was mucky. The front desk hardly picked up calls when one called from the room for assistance. The photos in the rezer ation showed a newer hotel but on arrival we found a much older one with dated furnishings.

The room was clean, The staff was sort of non-existent. Parking lot is in bad shape.

The pool area needed some attention, and not much of a work out room.

While everything was nice, my room was not even tided up for a two-day stay. The towels were not picked up and the trash was not even emptied. I know things are changing and there are no new towels for each day - at least take the trash.

The hotel was in good overall condition, although it could use a few updates. We didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, but for the price, it offered good value and was a decent place to stay.

Parking is a wide open lot with lots of availability. The location of the hotel off the highway is very convenient. Staff was so friendly - namely the gentleman on check in and the woman on check out. We had forgotten an item (a fork!) and staff found us one which was really helpful. Breakfast was good.
