The beds were comfortable, the window was large and the breakfast was solid. The wifi worked perfectly. There aren't any rules regarding nighttime silence, which meant that guests from the neighboring rooms had parties until very late at night every night, so I slept very poorly.

Staffs were very friendly and rooms were very comfortable to stay with kids. No Air conditioning. So it is hot inside room at Summer

The common bathrooms were not cleaned much, one of those remained totally unusable for 2 days and noone bothered. On the other hand there were really a lot of bathrooms on all the floors, so we could always find a clean enough one.

1. Friendly service. The front desk staff were very helpful in many ways to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. When we checked out, we forgot to take our critical medicine with us. Afterwards we found out while we were already in another country, we called them (They have WhatsApp number we could call, a very unusual and nice way of treating customers). They located the medicine and kept it in a refrigerator for us so that we could come back to pick it up. It was so nice of them to help us to recover the otherwise terrible loss. 2. Excellent breakfast For a hostel, normally breakfast could be very simple with limited selections. However, DIC serves really good breakfast with hot food such as bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs plus plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy and cereals selections. 3. The room is very big with a lot of space and furniture to put things away and in order. No bad smells. Quiet at night too. 4. Shared bathrooms nearby were always available and clean. None to think about

Clean, superb breakfast like an expensive hotel. 10/10 this is the best hostel I have been

The place has everything you need, the breakfast was very good. Clean room with all necessities. Very nice atmosphere, we were pleasantly surprised this place is a dorm as well. Location is very convenient, close to the center by foot. The room was not very well ventilated , but it was acceptable

Good location. Breakfast included a bowl filled with 15 jars of nutella and an ice-cream scooper Some dude was showering for 25 minutes. Eggs were gray.

Very close to the city center and main attractions in Ljubljana. A quiet and safe neighborhood.

Beds were so uncomfortable but it's okay for short-term stay

The room is spacious and clean. The check in is easy. The location is very close to the center. The bathrooms are clean and organized. The kitchen doesn't have a lot of things to cook with(pans or plates).

Very helpful staff, great breakfast and comfortable beds. I'm never very fond of shared bathrooms, but they were kept nice and clean. The hostel is within easy walking distance from Ljubljana city center. The wifi connection was really bad on the 3rd floor where we were staying. It was impossible to have a video or audio call over it or to watch streaming video.

We were across from the bathrooms and maybe it was a quiet period of time but we mainly had them to ourselves. Also, the kitchen was next door. The staff were very helpful, we were a day delayed by a missed flight connection and they adapted our reservation. The rooms had lots of storage and ours had AC which was very welcomed. Good breakfast. Very family friendly The coffee was not great. A toaster would have been great too but the bread was very delicious regardless.

Close to city center n attractions nearby You can cook. Has plenty of toilets and shower room, but Shared toilets, means not everyone knows how to maintain cleanliness The room has no a/c nor electric fan, so expect it to be hot . You cannot open the windows, otherwise bugs and insects will infest the room and you cant sleep. Breakfast is a school breakfast. Price is too much for the quality of accommodation.

I think this hostel deserves a better rating than the current one! As stated in other reviews, it is a university dorm converted to a hostel. The beds were suuuuper comfy and the room was a good space for 2-3 people. The shared bathroom was clean and we never had to wait to use it, there is a good amount of cabins. We didn't use the kitchen, but there are 2 kitchens in each floor. For the price you pay, it's a very good cost benefit. For a similar price elsewhere, you get only a bed in a shared dorm, with no breakfast. There is also a nice area outside to hang out and a good parking lot. I strongly suggest a toaster in the breakfast, for 4 days it was hard to eat a old/cold bread every day. Coffee was not good quality. No fan at all, so it gets warm in the room in the hot days. No elevator for people (just for luggage), so it can get tiring if you are staying in the 3rd or 4th floor.
