Its was awesome. Great location. Ease and staff were also friendly. I was helped when needed. Two ladies at the office even gave me advice to what to eat solvenian/balkan. Loved it ! Smelly socks of one guy in the room. I hope there is a way to educate people.:(

The location is great - rooms 3 & 4 have river views, and the whole place is so close to town for dining options. Bathrooms are clean, and the whole hostel is small (4 rooms total) so you don't really ever have to wait for a bathroom. The bathrooms have lots of counter space and are cleaned regularly. Rooms are a bit small, not a lot of counter space/closet space/hooks, no Air-conditioning, and you might hit your head on the vaulted ceiling, but for the price I really can't complain. Overall great value.

I checked in without any hassle, staff were very friendly and rooms were pretty nice, considering i paid $110 for 3 nights and it wasn’t so terrible I do recommend:) (Also close to the Bus station and plenty of shops walking distance. Only downside was the noises at night. I woke up several times. But what do you expect your in the middle of the city.

Very good location

The hostel is a 10-minute walk from the bus station. The hostel has a mini kitchen and refrigerator, and a restroom is located both at reception and upstairs. You can rent a private room at the hostel, where I was able to work on my laptop, which is rare in hostels. It has a decent-sized desk. The hostel is also located in the heart of the old town, which is very convenient because you can walk around until late and then quickly return home and go to bed within 15-20 minutes. What I liked most was that the hostel was fully booked on the second night, and it wasn't possible to extend my stay. However, when I asked in the evening if I could extend my stay, one guest declined, so I was able to book a second night in a different room because my first room was already occupied. A locker is included in the price, and it's nice that after check-out you can leave your bags in the storage room and explore the city. I liked that the bathroom had soap, shampoo, and towels included in the price. Not every hostel provides free towels; some require an additional fee. No such thing. I liked everything.

Great location! The kitchen in the room is very practical. There wasn't any place to store the stuff (ex: cabinets) so you have to put all your belongings on the floor or under the bed.

This is a good budget hostel that also has private rooms with a shared bathroom. Great value for the price and location

Great location, clean rooms and bathroom. Fridge and kettle in room is great touch. Staff a little surly, but they do a competent job. Rooms somewhat small

I had an upper bunk bed in a dorm room, and there were no electric outlets next to the bed or on the wall, so I had to come down every time I needed to charge my phone.
-
Hostel was noisy and in desperate need of a deep clean - like under the mattresses.

Location was the best part of staying at H2O.Walking distance to most important part of Ljubljana is really great thing to have. It is very affordable accommodation for anyone who is looking to save money. Met interesting people there.

Very late check in, noisy bed
-
I just needed a quick overnight so it suited my needs but, I wouldn't stay here again, especially since I've stayed elsewhere in Ljubljana and loved it.

Helpful staff. Great location. Overall satisfied.

Reception service can be further improved. They should at least know which bed is available and inform guest of services they can supply when check in like whether need a locker which will need 10euro as deposit. Please be noted their reception starts from 8AM. Bed mattress is not comfortable.

I expected more from this hostel from the reviews! It's bare bones and is fine for a night, but I wouldn't recommend it to friends. We ended up with a very cramped attic room with no AC or airflow during the hot summer nights. There were lines for the one bathroom on our floor. The kitchen is extremely small and not really usable for cooking, so don't plan on that.
