Great location, clean room, and friendly host. None

everything!

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, providing us with helpful information about parking and excellent restaurant recommendations. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including tea, coffee, and all the essentials for preparing meals. The location is perfect—right in the city center, with all the main attractions within walking distance, making it easy to explore Ljubljana on foot. One of our favorite details was that there is a bakery on the ground floor of the building. It was wonderful to wake up each morning to the smell of freshly baked bread—it made the experience even more special. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again. No complaints. Everything was excellent.

The little communal kitchen is a real asset. Like the rest of the premises, it has been furnished with love and an eye for quality and functionality. Marija is an unusually caring and attentive host. The only quibble is the noise coming from the pub opposite. However, the windows do a good job at keeping the noise out, and after 1am, one can open the windows for fresh air again.

Please note that the private bathroom is small, but there is also access to the shared bathroom.

Historic The host! Noisy in the street

The room is very spacious, tastefully decorated. The heating system works quite well. The building is old and it’s amazingly renovated; it didn’t lose its soul at all. The kitchen is shared and very clean, it has everything you need; kettle, coffee machine, refrigerator etc. The coffee is on the house. The location is great, it’s parallel to the river, very close to the main bus stop and minutes away from the sightseeing spots. The area is very safe for solo traveler ladies. In the neighborhood there are lots of restaurants and bars for different tastes; you can see the closest cafe/bar from your room’s window. The street is alive during the day and in the evening it’s calm, so there is no street noise. Besides the windows are tightly closed. It’s a family business; Eva and Marija are very thoughtful, kind, lovely, generous and they really care about your stay there. They also have an umbrella repair shop. Location was near center of town, which was perfect for easy walking. No breakfast.

The design of the apartment is beautiful and thoughtfully done, and the mattresses were incredibly comfortable – we slept really well every night. The price was also very reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. A special mention goes to our host, Marija, who was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ljubljana!

Antique building with abundant coziness, location is super with everything in walking distance for anyone who’d like to explore the city itself. Hostess was exceptionally friendly and thoughtful! Come on a rainy day? She got you with umbrellas in all sort of colors you may borrow! N/A

A gem. This great place is better than it appears. Marija is the best hostess and what she has built for herself, her guests and family is to be admired. The room was cozy, comfortable and well appointed. A lovely share kitchen on the same floor with additional food and drink for your comfort. Washing/drying at a fee, even had some help. Very gracious host. Great cake and coffee downstairs. Stairs are a very easy climb. Close to train and buses and right near the town square. We would love to come back. It suited us perfectly.

The bathroom for my room was small; it didn't bother me at all because I'm petite but if it's something that's important to you, double check the bathroom size when booking

The location is in the heart of the city. Apartment is comfortable and very clean. The owner is very polite and friendly. Almost nothing negative

Maria was so friendly and welcomed us into her guest house, even accommodating our late arriving van. Having access to her washer and dryer was wonderful for a mid-trip clean-up. Access to the kitchen is nice to prepare a quick lunch or for warming up left-overs late in the evening. Location is convenient to everything in "old town" and walkable to the local attractions. Across the street is friendly neighborhood coffee shop and bar. You can also buy an umbrella or recycled tote bag in Maria's umbrella shop! This guesthouse is a true hidden gem in Ljubljana! We had everything we needed staying here. 3 friends traveling together.

Excellent location. The hosts couldn’t have been more nice or accommodating!

- The location, so close to all the attractions and also to Ljubljana's train and bus stations. - The host, Marija was very welcoming and friendly. - Quiet, the sound insulation from the street noise was really good. - The room also has really good heating so it was really warm. The shower and toilet, it's way too small. I'm a very thin and not-so-tall person but still felt like I could barely squeeze myself into the the shower or the toilet. It was very uncomfortable.

Excellent location. Lovely and authentic owners. Very clean. Nice to have a kitchen with a kettle and refrigerator. The rooms are in a renovated old house. While lovely, the stairs could be difficult.

Perfect location with easy access to everything! Host was incredible and so sweet - had tons of recommendations and we tried multiple restaurants she recommended, all delicious!
